It depends on what your goals are of whether a blog is a good idea or close to essential.

There are other ways to make money online without one.

Some people base of their business is blogging. But that's not for everyone.

There are various reasons why people blog. However, blogging is not a necessity. It's something that people engage in for different purposes. Some use blogging to promote their products and services. Others use it to gain traffic and earn money. There are the ones who blog for their own pleasure.

You don't necessarily need to have a blog. It'll depend on what your business model is.

However, if you have email subscribers and you want to keep them happily subscribed to your list, then one of the best ways to do so is by providing them with good, relevant content on your blog (it does not need to all be written by you, it can be curated content as well).

This way, you can kill two birds with one stone -- you can direct subscribers to your content on your blog, and you'll be building authority in the process. Your blog will be indexed with lots of good relevant content by the search engines, attracting visitors and also keeping them there because of the amount of content you'll have there.

You don't need to *HAVE* a blog. Some people start blogs for all kinds of reasons:

- Share daily things you do and see everyday to friends and family
- To sell something
- To bring the world other regions of the planet to those who cant travel there themselves
- Fun
- To be social and make friends
- An easy alternative to creating a website from scratch

You can still make a ton of money without a blog. Learn how to be a "marketer" first though - so that you can sell anything...anytime.

You use a blog for everything. It's your source of value to the market place, traffic generation, lead generation, relationship building etc. A blog once used the right way is a powerful tool that can and will create long term results. You don't need to have a blog but it's definitely a huge plus if you have one. It's cheap and easy to start and run so it's definitely worth it.

If you keep blogging long term and you're creating traffic, that's your brand right there. People will know who you are because of your blog and the value that you're offering.

You definitely do not need a Blog. But if done right it can really speed up the process in attaining Success.

You can use it to Brand yourself or your Products.

It can be used also solely as a "feeder" to your Newsletter or autoresponder sequence to build a relationship trough email marketing.

Don't start blogging to earn money, it never works.
Choose topic that interests you and create a blog
build audience on social media
interact with them
when you have good amount of traffic, put ads.

The blog used for to create your own branding and credibility by helping others with your content. Provide useful and informative content will always make your subscribe happy. Every blog should have objective and it decide by the owner and, if you want to make money from it, therefore your content have to help you generate income also like promoting affiliate and etc. No, you doesn't need a blog but to have one is certainly more advantage from person who doesn't. Let say you have Facebook Page of 12,000 likes and but doesn't have blog, you could easily lost this valuable asset if Facebook decided to close or suspend your account. While have your own blog you have more control on it and retain your customers/fan and more.

Having a blog is awesome, but many Newbies starting out are intimidated and never begin or begin and quit. You can actually get a free blog on blogger.com to "get your feet wet." If you are ready to start a blog, you can hire someone on Fiverr to build it for you. What do you say? You first have to find

1. What interests you
2. What is selling in the market about what interests you

Don't start a blog without doing some research FIRST to save yourself time and money. Then, when you do find out through keyword research or a keyword software about a topic that is getting enough traffic to spend your time on it, do it.

If a topic has thousands of searches a month and has products on Clickbank and Amazon that are already hot sellers, you have a proven winner. Go for it! Kristie
