We all know that with a new year comes new methods/tactics of Internet Marketing, what should we be focusing on for 2016?

    My "new tactics and methods" will be that there are no new "tactics and methods" I will simply focuson what has been working so far and mover further ahead in mastering those areas.

    One of the biggest challenges is in finding traffic that converts so we are moving more into what has worked and less of the main stream advertising that is costly. In other words, look away from where everyone else is going, at the same time, make sure it works!

    Why dont you just focus on making the rest of 2015 work for you.

    Not much will change in 2016. Just new different way of doing the same stuff that's been done for years.

    Fixed that for you.

    I've been using the same methods/tactics of Internet Marketing for nearly 20 years, and don't expect that to change anytime soon. My father did the same in his business, as did his father before him. The only things that change is technology; time-proven proven methods and tactics don't.

        Everything mentioned in the Offline Forum, and then some. There is still a whole world out there offline; vastly undiscovered and untapped by internet marketers. Online is only a small fraction of the potential.

    I'll throw mine in:

    1. Branding.
    2. Mobile.
    3. Socials.
    4. VR.
    5. Digital Currency.
    6. Influencers.
    7. SnapChat.
    8. Internal Search Engines (Ex. Facebook).
    9. IoT.
    10. Wearing Star Wars Pajamas.

    The most important of which is highlighted in bold. Regarding 1. Branding. Does it not strike you as somewhat of an opportunity, when looking at your competition, that few competitors leverage the potential of branding? Take a look. If you're lucky enough to work in a market where the majority of website eyesores are moribund, you have a chance to capitalize: death to bland, long live the brand.
