What type of website are you trying to build? Personally I'm finding FocusBlog by Thrive Themes really good - very customizable plus you can also use it for landing pages, squeeze pages etc.

Genesis framework is of course good and i will advise you use it because of its flexibility. That is what I uses for all my sites and I can tell from experience, it's one of the best framework you can use for you site.

Now, it's just a framework. You will definitely need a child theme for complete installation and for me, I use eleven40 pro because of it's clean design.

As for your landing pages, I would suggest you use instabuilder instead of .optimizepress.
Of course both are good and I have been privileged to to use the two, but for simplicity sake, you will love instabuilder because optimizepress is a little complex.

Another disadvantage with optimizepress is,while instabuilder is a plugin, optimizepress is a theme. You can't use it with Genesis framework because it's a theme you have to install on a separate domain. But instabuilder is a plugin that can easily be installed on your website.

    Thanks.

Personally my vote would go with genesis, but I think it's really important not to get bogged down with indecision about the tech things.

You need to be taking action getting content written and knocking things out of the park. We can all discuss until the cows come home about the merits of one platform over the other but whilst you are discussing you aren't earning.

I know it would be a pain but there is nothing stopping you from changing course at a later date, but you still need to be in business then.

Not trying to be horrible, just trying to get you moving

      Best wishes

    Hello,

You can use WooThemes with Instabuilder, now Instabuilder can override all pages, so you only see the Instabuilder pages and not your main theme, for more info on this, check your pm

    Thank you

Genesis framework is the best. I've used it personally to create many sites and it's just the best. Highly customizable and you can create any sort of website with Genesis.

Another very happy user of Genesis here. And you can easily build a squeeze page by just starting from scratch with a blank page in Genesis - no need for anything else.

Out of those I would recommend OptimzePress.

If you are looking for something a little more advanced...

I give ClickFunnels my highest recommendation.

Most of the time, I stick with Genesis for blog pages, and OptimizePress for funnel pages and memberships.

There's a pretty big consensus here on Genesis

Genesis is no doubt a great framework for WordPress. Great quality and fast in loading. I can also suggest you to use optimize press for creating landing pages.

If you're looking to build squeeze pages, sales pages, video pages, etc... another awesome solution instead of the 3 you mention in the title is http://www.thrivetheme.com

They have some great templates to use and are always adding new templates. Plus, they offer the best customer support out of any of the products mentioned. I've tried them all
