Hi guys!

I´ve compiled a list with over 200 datings sites and made this into a great looking ebook.
most links will be aff-links.

What price should this ebook cost?
Any suggestions?

It's hard to tell since we have no clue about the market, here are some questions you can think about answering though:

    * Is the main goal to get it out there and earn through affiliate links?
If you don't care about the money from the sale you could have a low/free price point and hope that it spreads wide across the web with your links in it.

    * Do you want to earn from each sale?
In this case you probably want to have a higher price point based on the value your book provides.

    * What are others in the market doing?
Check amazon, kindle, clickbank and other marketplaces to see what similar books go for.

Or you could always put an arbitrary price, say $9.97, at first and then adjust according to how well it sells.

    That's just my 2cents.

If you market it right, the best approach might be to offer it is a FREE BOOK.

    Seriously.

Why? You get WIDER coverage plus you get paid via affiliate referrals.

If I were you, I'd add a little more meat to your book like a chapter or two on HOW TO PROMOTE DATING SITES.

    $20.

But 97% of those sites are filled with fake male and female profiles. In other words... if you want to meet a future girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband, just stick to these sites:

    1) Match

    2) Eharmony

    3) Blackpeoplemeet

That's it. With most of those sites, you can buy the PLR package, and start your own fake dating site with fake members and autobots and everything. Which is what most of these sites are.

Free. Get your name out there first, build relationships, then charge for your next one.

I propose to give it away for free. But your ebook must be filled with some information. Like a short 150 words review per site. Otherwise, there is no incentive on why one should even download the ebook.

Secondly, you need to come up with a backend offer. Maybe something like - How to write your profile that attracts women.

Think of the next logical reason and create an ebook just for that and sell that for say $7.

    Good Luck!

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your answers!

Now, my plan was to offer this book for a certain price (x)
and have a sales page -> become a publisher through an affiliate platform -> let the affilates market the eBook (cash for me, cash for them).

Thanks for the great ideas, and keep em coming

It really depends on the quality of your book. We recently finished a split test on kindle of two books.

Both books were about building a website and included aff links to hosting, themes and images etc. The content of the books were essentially the same. Book A was given away through free sites and set to permanent free whilst the second book was placed on sale at 6.99.

As you would expect the free book got tons more downloads than the paid book. However at the end of the three month test the charged for book had a significantly higher purchase rate of the affiliate products listed and made over 437% more than the free book (excluding the money earned from the book).

Sell this as a kindle book at a small price between $1.99 to $6.99 and create a larger version of the ebook with say 500 dating sites and sell that at a greater price through ClickBank.

You can send out free ebook to some of your chapters and can price other chapters when someone subscribe,

if it is just a list of sites, then it should be a free give away to start or continue building your list. I would not pay for something I can get on google in about 2 minutes.

Also, your links should be affiliate links to monetize the list

Have you thought of offering your Ebook for say $7 and then have an upsell after that in your sales funnel. In other words offer a second product that is related to the Ebook for a higher price. This way you get people into your funnel and some will buy your second offer and make you more money.

I think you make a lot from the dating niche... so I would say -- give the ebook away to build your mailing list. Once you have the mailing list, you can make money via affiliate programs to the dating sites itself, other dating ebooks, etc...

    All the best.
