Is a turnkey Clickbank squeeze site a viable strategy?

Recently, I got a little carried away with the excitement of picking up turnkey starter sites from Flippa. Something about being able to hit the ground running made me a little too loose with the bid button, because the whole setup process is what has kept me out of IM when I first ventured in to it years ago.

Anyway, one of the sites is one of those squeeze page list builders with the fancy car, cash, and big mansion behind the promise of easy Clickbank profits (please don't judge me too harshly). The autoresponder was set up for me with two weeks devoted to that one product, and then about 7 weeklies with different products.

My question is, are these sites even viable? If so, how does one drive traffic without a blog or other content to rank? Honestly, the more I read on this forum, the more I think I need to completely rewrite this project (though I am scared the domain will only make one think of get rich quick schemes, even if I try to make the site more "legit").

What advice do the experienced warriors have on these sites?

Nope! You're a sucker. But don't despair! Say NO to the pipe dreams and unicorns and get out while you're somewhat ahead. That's the best advice any experience marketer can give you.

That's kinda what I figured. I knew it deep down, but curiosity got the best of me. It is probably best anyway, making friends with the bid button gave me a little too much to do. Thanks for your input; I am glad I found this site (albeit a little late).

In 99% of the occasions you will fail.

        Why?

Because you will have hundreds, if not thousands of new competitors to the exact same services.

So or you know the niche 100% inside out, know how be in the top of the pack of your competitors or you will fail miserably.

There are so many examples.... i can give you one: The Fiverr Clones Websites.... 1000´s were raised and how many survived? maybe half a dozen or so...

My recommendation to you, it's quite simple, setup your own business, products, etc., that will bring you much more than any turnkey site ever.

You should not be buying websites that you don't understand how to run traffic to. I hope you didn't spend a lot because those are really simple to build or even hire someone to build it for you.

If it is a squeeze page you are not going to hope that a search engine picks it up to get traffic. You need to be getting solo ads and clickbanking. Then have a sequence of emails that will sell the product which you said you have.

You need to get your autoresponder set up with the page and load the emails into your autoresponder.

Then do a search on Facebook for solo ad groups. Watch the reviews and find someone that is getting good reviews. Start off with 100 clicks and see how there traffic works with your squeeze page. Once you get a good amount of subscribers you can start doing clickbanking.

Another method is to do some paid advertising. Facebook advertising is a good way to build a list.

If you have the budget for it paid advertising is the best way to build up your list fast. Just make sure you start putting other good information into your emails so that your list is not just being sold to all the time.
