Depends what you advertise. If people are interested and you get the ad in front of enough interested people, then why not?

But know that T-Shirts sell a lot of Facebook Ads and you need to consider why that is. My thinking is because the medium (facebook) is so graphically oriented, that ads that have this quality will naturally get the most interaction (funny and alarming videos too).

So I would first seek out a product that fits any of the above and then create an ad (display or Video) that enhances those qualities. Then consider your funnel (your webpage and call to action) - as it is recommended by many to send your traffic to your lead capture funnel rather than straight through to the offer.

I have been testing with a fan page based off of products from amazon the page is niche specific, I have ran video ads that get like 1 cent and 2 cents per video view. The key to ads on Facebook is making sure to target people correctly.
