A serious beginner would have a bit more to go off of than this.

A not so serious beginner will wait for a thread like this to fill with sig spam and banal platitudes (while ignoring one or two serious attempts at an answer).

Something something use the search function already.

If you are a beginner don't do it simply for the money, you'll just get bored and leave before thing get exciting.

Find something you would enjoy doing and really work on getting good at it...then the money will come. If you enjoy writing then blogging or article writing may be for you. If you enjoy and can be good at video editing then video content making may be your thing. There is money to be made with almost everything but most people don't make money because they don't care enough about what they do to really get good at it or they give up just before success is about to come their way.

You are a beginner...pick something you feel you would enjoy doing and start playing... worry about the money after a few months of playing

You've been asking for help for 7 months here. What have you done? Why are you asking for a niche when you said before you decided on fitness? Already jumping ship?

If you've read all these threads and if you are really serious, make a decision and get started. You've already wasted 7 months - don't let it turn into 7 years. AFTER you get started, have a site going, made some progress, etc. come back and you can get more help with whatever is holding you back. But the decision and getting started part is yours and yours alone.

The best niche to start in is one that you're passionate about and has a market full of hungry buyers who are looking for a solution to their problems.

There, that's the "big secret" now go out and just do it!

Well said chaotic I couldn't have said it better. The question Is, is he really serious or confused cause I mean 7 whole months is more than enough for him to have learnt at least one thing about internet marketing.

If you are truly serious , then as suggested above you wouldn't be here asking the same questions seven months later.
I am not trying to be clever here , but what you are doing in the forum is delaying getting to work, wasting your time , looking for the push button answer ...... There isn't one .
Most people fail online because they spend too much time doing the things they LIKE to do rather than what they NEED to do .
For most people that's Facebook or Twitter.
So you spend three hours a day on social media or even in here and then you tell your wife or husband you have been working hard for three hours .
Total crap and self delusion . If you are serious get DOING something
It actually doesn't really matter what, even if you make a total mess of things , you will learn stuff I guarantee it .
Let's imagine you learn how to install Wordpress , well now you have a new skill .
You could install Wordpress for people for money .
That may be a poor example but the reality is you need to learn something and then execute on it .

Sorry if that sounds harsh but taking action is the only thing you need concern yourself with for now

I would say start with affiliate marketing! It has high stakes. Join a coaching program, so you don't end up losing money taking wrong decision.

you must determine whether you want to do that I suggest is, affiliate marketing has many other channels, jvzoo.com, clickban, amazon. but all are not simple, you have to invest money and time before it brings income to you

What are you serious about? I sense you are simply flogging around and not serious about anything. What do you want to do? What qualifications do you have? What are you good at. What are you expert at? What are your passions? What are your goals? What are your plans? What is your strategy for executing that plan?

I would strongly suggest finding a great mentor with a great course. Find one that offers one-on-one coaching.

It will save you the hours you have spent already on making money online.

    Hi
Get in to a niche that you enjoy or are good at, or really want to know it better.

There are some amazing comment by these lovely warriors on this forum but i just want to add that no matter what niche you get in, try to understand the problem in that niche and find a solution where you can help them.

If you do come out with something then please give us a shout and we love to hear your ideas.

  • All the comments from the guys above has summed it up really.

Id def do a bit of research in IM in general and try and establish what niche you want to move into.

Eventually you could consider some coaching, but give yourself a bit of knowledge in the first instance.

The easiest thing you can do would be to pick up a niche, create a wordpress blog with a decent theme, pickup a domain that matches with your niche and go to clickbank and write product reviews (a few would do that job). Than you need to register in forums from your niche and post there your links (no spam links, try to make it look legit). Do this a few times and you will get your first sell.

Your problem is starting with a blog in the fitness niche.

Many new marketers start with a blog- which isn't necessarily a bad thing -but then give up too soon.

A blog takes a LONG time to gain any traction especially in competitive niches. You are competing with many established blogs and authority sites.

And your content needs to be top notch. You can't get a bunch of generic iWriter articles and expect visitors to view you as an authority.

And you can't be working very hard if you can't find any forums. The fitness niche has thousands of active forums that are not hard to find.

Six month is nothing. Unless you are really busting your ass to engage your audience and drive traffic then you will see very little in six months. It takes six months just for Google to notice you and start giving your indexed pages any love.

In competitive niches like fitness and make money online you are much better off creating a strong opt-in funnel and bulding a list.

You need a good funnel! Most examples and "give me feedback" threads here are for terrible squeeze pages.

Once you have a decent list and if you WANT to blog (it is a lot of work) use your list as a source of traffic to jump start your blog and get traffic to posts.

With a strong opt-in funnel and a good follow-up sequence you can start building a following right away with paid traffic.

YouTube as also better than a blog to start. YouTube really is a social community and if you have a "real" channel and you engage other "real" YouTube channels as well as your audience you will get more attention quicker than with a blog. Then send that YouTube traffic to your funnel.

I said this before. I have a friend who is not into marketing. He just started a YouTube channel on fixing guitars cuz that's what he likes to do. He is not building a list. He does not believe in "scamming" people with affiliate marketing.

He just goofs around with guitars and comments and talks to other guitar YouTubers.

In only a few months he is getting about $1,000 a month from Google Ad share.

From that point you have enough traction to start sending traffic to a funnel (he doesn't have one) or making promotional videos for affiliate offers (he doesn't believe in that but there are some good recurring guitar lesson products at Clickbank).

When you choose your niche or are exploring niches you need to figure out where your target audience is and go find them. You can't just set up a blog and then hope people find you. Unless you are setting up 100+ micro-niche blogs some making $0 and some making $10 per month.

There is nothing wrong with a blog but they can take a long time to build up traffic, content and engagement. Especially if you are not building a list at the same time. So you really need to find your voice and be in a niche you are passionate about if you want to be a blogger.

hey congrats on the decision to build your online stream!

What you need to do is invest in your internet marketing education and get a daily action plan together.

Once you learn a lot about internet marketing, you will be able to start taking this very seriously.

There are many steps to follow, and of course there is a basic order. But when you invest in knowledge, you can do a lot more.

I would recommend you to start with a niche blog. Do a little bit of research on a niche you are very interested in.

    Don't over thinking it.

Just find a good niche and get moving.

A successful blog has a lot of benefits for you. You have more possibilities, more choices. You can get a lot more organic from the search engines with your own niche blog site.

Combine Internet Marketing with Niche Blogging.

Use multiple internet marketing strategies to build up the daily traffic flow of your blog.

Keep learning and put things together as you go!

    This would be my advice!

    Keep up the great work!

    Cheers!

In all honesty , you just have to start somewhere instead of trying to figure it all out at once. That is called overwhelment and it will get somewhere-backwards. Start a blog on a topic you like. Do some research to see what topics are hot. I know for a fact people are spending alot of money in the relaxation arena and what I mean by that is anything that helps them to relax. Like animals and plants-gardening.....but you will have to find your own thing-that is the first step.

I don't do much at all with Youtube, but Blogging is how I got started.

Its simple but NOT easy. Blogging takes a lot of commitment and hard work over time.

Some people go on for years blogging without any substantial rewards.

If you are going to dabble with it, forgot about it.

If you want to get serious then start your blog today. And really add content that has value and one that will attract Organic traffic as well as direct traffic

What are you serious about? That wasn't clear. If you are simply serious about making money, I'm afraid that's not enough.

What are your skills or interests? What do you know most about and want to share with others? How hard are you willing to work and learn? Do you have ideas or solutions for problems that people have? Can you communicate your ideas and solutions so that people trust you and understand you? Do you have the patience to keep working when things don't go well?

It seems you are asking other people to assess your ability to succeed. Only you can do that.

I'll tell you about me. I'm a beginner and I am also trying to experiment with different ways to get traffic to my website. Find someone on Fiverr who has a direct traffic campaign service that uses a shortened URL. I'm trying an experiment where I use Free Web Traffic, Use SiteAmplifier Traffic Generator to post some ads on some of my targeted pages. Whenever someone sees those ads on my page, I get more credits to get my ads displayed somewhere else. It is working. I have about 1 to 2% clickthrough rate.
