Squeeze Page Gripe

Is there like a Squeeze Page School where Internet marketers are taught how to make cookie-cutter pages with the same shouty red headlines and sickly yellow boxes and buy-now buttons the size of Simon Cowell's ego? I suppose they must work, because they ALL LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME.

Does originality in squeeze pages really tank that badly as far as sales go that no one steps outside of the box anymore? Where is it written that squeeze pages must be craptastic? If I never see another one, it will be too soon.

Done with rant now.

    Here's a suggestion on How To USe "Squeeze" pages to your advantage.

    Most Business websites do NOT have a decent "Squeeze" page.

    So...you create a Squeeze Page that "Looks Like" the actual pages on the existing site. Show it to the site owner (by phone or email) and SELL them your Squeeze Page.

    We get $500 a Pop for ours! They can't stand to be without it, once they see our Sample.

    Thanks, but I'm actually able to design my own - I was just wondering why they're all the same. Is it a commonly accepted fact that cookie-cutter-ugly squeeze pages convert the best?

        Yeah, it's kinda like using 7's in your price - it just works. As near as I can tell, if it works let it work and count your blessings that it works, eh?

          I noticed that many, many people use 7's. Most people do not know that 7 represents spiritual perfection.

      No problem just trying to help.

      I think change is hard for some people, so they stick with what has been working. Nothing wrong with that. But change is always inevitable.


      Video squeeze pages are becoming very popular. They are personable and if done right very professional looking. I like them better than the other but I am sure each have their own place.

    Laura,

    It really depends on the niche.

    I have a squeeze page in a non-MMO niche where a dark blue Impact headline, ecover, and basic opt-in on a plain white background has tested higher than anything else I've tried (and I've tried several "cool" squeeze designs). There's not any other text or elements on the page. When I've tried to add anything at all, conversions drop.

    You have to test to know.
