Please VOTE to help me choose between these 2 domain names for my marketing business

My online sales and marketing solutiions business is growing and I want to rebrand with a new name.

I bought 2 domain names, and like each one for different reasons but I am having a hard time deciding on which ONE I will go with.

A lot of what I do is offer PPC account management for Google Adwords, Bing ads, Facebook ads, and other marketing and sales solutions.

Which one do you vote for? (And feel free to add comments with your vote)

UpMarketingSolutions.com | UP Is Our Only Direction
Up - Suggests growth, progress and gains.
(no website yet)

Or....

PinkFrogMarketing.com | We help you 'Jump Over' the competition

I think its cool, feel it is very memerable and a great branding name.
(I think I saw BlueFrogMarketing.com for sale for $4700)
No website yet but I have a beautiful pink frog logo!

Thanks and if anyone has any recommendations on any specific WP theme or site template which is great for sales and marketing services business, please feel free to share!!

UpMarketingSolutions.com | UP Is Our Only Direction is the better choice, makes me think as a consumer that I will have the chance to rise with your service. Pink frog makes me think of a slimy frog. Just my opinion.

      pink frog seems too weird

Neither of them really appeal to me. Pink Frog is easy to remember, but does not cause me to feel good about it (a little too juvenile ), other one is too generic.

What is it that you do best? focus on trying to determine what you do best?

You're going to throw rotten tomatoes at me, OP. I'm afraid I don't like either domain. In your industry, there is a trend away from keyword names, even when just using a single keyword, and a trend towards clever names that perfectly highlight the core brand. I would ask yourself, instead, "How can I do that? Are there one, two, at the most three words that perfectly sum up my brand?"

    UpMarketingSolutions.com hands down.

Most people will say, "I've never seen a pink frog, nor do I want to. I just want to make money, and "Up Marketing" sounds like a name that can take my business to the next level."

I'm with Tom. I don't like either name very much.

Maybe it's just me, but "Up Marketing" sounds way too much like "Up Yours". Beyond that, it really doesn't suggest anything without your explanation of your reasoning. In court, that would be called "leading the witness."

Pink Frog is cutesy and clever, but suggests you may be making/selling stuffed toys.

Don't be influenced by this at all. People buy a domain, slap an unrealistic price on it, and try to sell it to the naive.

You can register "yellowfrogmarketing.com" at Godaddy right now for $.99.

    Don't be duped.

Those who see a value in a name will buy the name they want. While the name is not a 4k domain you cannot tar all domain names in the aftermarket with the same brush

upmarketingsolutions.com has too many syllables. Too wordy.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with PinkFrog. I might even just leave it at PinkFrog.com

Pink frog, as a name, shows creativity - and that's what a person should want from his marketing company... Very easy to develop a mascot as well (ie. The geico gecko)

    Hi
Have to say both are great names and us warriors have different opinions....

I would prefer upmarketingsolutions.com, as a customer that looks more professional and realistic to me.

I personally think names not a big issue as long as your marketing gives your customers great value then you will grow faster and bigger.

I don't care for UpMarketingSolutions; as Wolfmii pointed out, too wordy.

I like PinkFrog, although I'd change the slogan to "leap" instead of "jump" (leap connotes more power and distance).

That being said, who's your target audience? If most of your customers are males, the "pink" might be subconsciously off-putting. Sounds silly, but it's a potential risk. If you were a woman then I think it would work better for branding purposes.

It's a great name (minus the "marketing") for a cosmetic line, female fashion line, or stuffed toys ...

Upmarketingsolutions(dot)com contains keywords that are ranked in Google Adwords. When someone includes "up marketing" in their keyword advertising list they can expect low competition with 390 average monthly searches at a cost of .22.

"Marketing solutions," on the other hand, has medium competition with 2,400 average monthly searches and at a cost of $10.38 for a first page bid.

We can debate all day the legitimacy of the domain resale markets, the SEO benefits of EMDs (Exact Match domains) and the value of either of your domains if you wanted to sell them someday.

Bottom line for me is that upmarketingsolutions(dot)com has some data to indicate it has some search engine value. The other is an unknown quantity. Of course, cute and clever brand names can have a lot of appeal, but I think you would need to spend a lot of time and/or money creating brand recognition.

Upmarketingsolutions(dot)com is not what a domainer would call a premium domain name, but at least the average surfer would have some idea of what the heck your business is about.

Thank you everyone who voted! Your time is appreciated!

For those of you who said something like I need to focus on what my business does to come up with a good name. Well, what I really want to offer (and my passion is) to offer MARKETING SOLUTIONS that create sales GROWTH for my clients -

And I think the name UpMarketingSolutions.com (not a link) describes that very well.

Also, the words MarketingSolutions is already a long name, to add another word in front or after would start to make it a little too long, so I thought the word 'up' again was a great fit. Besides, I spent a lot of time, and looked over hundreds of domain names on Godaddy trying to find something available with the words MarketingSolutions in it, and anything half decent was already taken.

And I think PinkFrogMarketing.com (not a link) is just catchy and memorable.

So I guess question # 2 is - I am very curious, would you really not do business with me if you did not like my domain name?

You asked for feedback, and you got it. Your reasoning is sound enough, and it's your business. If I have to choose, I'd rather see something like UpMarketingSolutions over a cutesy name like PinkFrog.

Nope, I might still do business with you, once I have a chance to evaluate what you can do for me. If the domain name is bad enough (to me), you might never get that chance.

Well I am late to the party but it sounds like as of yesterday you had still not decided.

upmarketingsolutions: There is already a website online called upmarketing.com. If that is your website why would you want to make it worse by adding the word solutions? If it is not your website why would you want to use a domain name so close to an already established one? Are you not concerned about confusion from visitors/clients and even possible legal issues? Have you even checked if "Up Marketing" is trademarked?

pinkfrogmarketing: So is this a gay frog? I am not trying to start a controversy but males wearing the color pink sometimes, rightly or wrongly, has a certain association. It may not matter to anyone that sees the name but I am a believer that a domain name or a logo should have no confusion or controversy associated with it at all. Unless of course that is part of your plan.

In the long run YOUR marketing will make the biggest difference in success or failure.

      There you have it.

Some like one, some the other. Some like neither.

Tells me that, if this feedback resembles the real world, that you should pick one and move on knowing that whatever you pick, some will like and some won't.

Yes John, your conclusion is similar to mine. Go with a name that you believe in, offer the best damn service you can, out-market your competition, and your business should thrive.

At the end of the day, if you believe my business or my services can get you the results or solutions you are after, and you let me business name deter you from doing business with me, then I am ok with that.

Thanks again to all of you that took the time to offer your 2 cents!

Now on to try and find a great website or theme!!
