Allinurl?Inurl?Whats the difference?Whats Best

2 replies
OK,did a search and dint find much.Heres what i did:

allinurl:keyword=========2,400
inurl:keyword===========5,800

allintitle:keyword===========24,000
intitle:keyword=============56,000

OK,why is there a difference just because i put [all] in front of the {in}.
And wich version would be better to see the actual competition that i would be up against.

Also,does it really matter that much.To me there is a big difference and it should matter.

    Hi Matt,

    AFAIK

    intitle: and inurl: only affect a single keyword and can be used in combination with other operators.

    allintitle: and allinurl: affect multiple keywords and can't be used in conjunction with other operators.

    e.g. allintitle:kw1 kw2 kw3

    Does that make sense?

    Have you seen the Unofficial Google Advanced Search ?

    Thanks for replying.OK,that makes sense.
    So when searching it just matters how many words im trying to focus on.
    Whether its just one or a longtail.
    When you mean operators,you mean other keywords or related words,right?
    Well,i went to your link and didnt understand a thing.
    So,for now ill just keep it the way you explained it.
    Thanks,
    Matt
