Running FB ads on someone else's account?

Hello, my FB ads account got blocked some time ago. Don't ask me why, because I'm still trying to get some decent explanation from FB. But in the meantime, I would like to continue to run my FB ads. So a friend of mine agreed that I run my ads from his FB account. But how do I handle the payment? I could link my friends PP account and send him the $ from my PP account. But that starts to become a bit clumsy. Now I was wondering if I can add my own PP account as a payment method? Or might that end up in being his account blocked also? Did anyone try this? I don't want to take the risk to "just try", and end up with my friend's account being blocked also.

Thank you

    Hi flyingdutch,

Where are you sending the FB clicks to?

It's always good practice to start advertising with a "Like" campaign to build up a fanpage. Then later redirecting to an actual website. Although it's ideal to send people to capture pages from FB to capture emails, they don't really like it. This is especially true if your capture page has "make money", "get rich", "mlm", or similar wording. It's best to direct to a value filled blog post/video or similar.

    Short answer,
if you got banned, your friend's account could too if you use the same ads and websites. May be safer to just build "Likes" from his account and then advertise directly to those fans through promoted fanpage posts. It works but can get expensive if your ads don't convert well.

As far as payments go, assuming you trust this friend, you could definitely set up your Paypal account or credit/debit card on his account for payments. If you don't trust them that much, you could take the extra step of setting up an extra bank account specifically for this purpose and use that debit card for ad payment. Only transfer money when you need to pay the ad bill.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks. No, I don't want to run the same ads as the ones that got my account blocked (Although I still don't have an answer what was wrong with them.)
I'm promoting other stuff and other pages now. No affiliate links, no popups, no money schemes, mlm or any of that stuff. Just selling genuine products (phones, watches, clothes, books, etc.etc.).

The only thing that I wanted to be sure of, is if I can link my PP account to my friend's FB account. And you seem to confirm that.

    Thank you

      You're welcome.

Quick question. Why don't you just create another FB account?

I know you're not suppose to create more than one personal account, but maybe you could create it under a business name and still stay compliant under the TOS. Food for thought...
