Webinars Over PPC - Worth It??

Hey Y'all -

I'm thinking about setting up some PPC promotions to run a Webinar with my partner.

Here's what I think:

- Setup a webinar landing page with LeadPages
- Host the webinar with Webinar Jam
- Run 60mins of content and then promote our offer at the end ($97)

What do y'all think? Typically when you run cold traffic towards a webinar for registrations - how many of the optins actually stick around for the webinar?

I've made cold sales over PPC before - but the idea of driving people towards a webinar is new to me.

Wanted to see what some webinar pro's on the forum might be thinking!

    Yes, I think it will be profitable for you. Actually PPC campaign will be more effective if you are able to reach your targeted Audience.

      Why not record it and embed into a sales page with a timed content reveal?
      That way, any PPC traffic can see the webinar and opt for the offer once the reveal happens.

      This is the way some CB products are marketed. You can then also have affiliates, or place it on CB or another marketplace and make sales on auto-pilot.

      I do not believe that hosting a "live" webinar makes any sense unless you are doing it for your OWN active list members. Since you're doing PPC, then don't bother with a "live" webinar.

      Plus, I've seen many "live" webinars and most of the time they're horribly done - horrible! Better option is to prerecord it, iron out the wrinkles and post a polished webinar that is content rich - not a technically challenged one, thus ruining potential sales.
