AMZ Authority Zone-Program still current?

I ended up receiving a free pdf e-guide lately called "Killing it With Amazon"..not sure who it came from...I am a subscriber to quite a few IM mailing lists.

But I downloaded that thing, and ate up that information like nobody's business. Apparently, it used to be called the "Amazon Academy Training" a few years back. I understand Gaz Cooper is a member of this board; if you are here, a big shout-out coming your way! Love your accent by the way; I think the English are great narrators and speakers :-)

I am trying to decide to just go for the membership after enjoying and putting into practice the guide info...now a little help from a network like this would be a nice idea. I can't believe all that is being offered for $27, did I miss something here? is it $27 for just the first month? Thinking of seriously taking the bait here...

And yes, I understand the importance of "sweat equity"...I just think I need to hone my techniques better than I have, since my last Amazon Associates account got dropped due to lack of sales activity. I have chalked it up to bad strategies on my part, I can see that now.

The $27 price is just for the first month. The regular price is $37 per month or an option of paying a 12 month subscription fee for $297.

I can tell you this. The AMZ Authority Zone forum is like a ghost town. Hardly anyone posts on there. The last post in the main forum section was over 2 weeks ago on 3rd September 2015.

It's certainly not an active, buzzing community of motivated individuals wanting to succeed with Amazon. Maybe this is due to the high cost of the membership fee- So many people who sign up watch the training videos in the first month then don't continue their membership.

I think you would be better of buying Erica Stone's ebook Extreme Review which covers in good detail the aspects of promoting Amazon products and includes free updates for life. That is only $29 which is far cheaper than the AMZ Authority Zone.

The AMZ Authority Zone was a good idea, but if they had made it an affordable one time fee of say $47 then I think it would have a far more active community and be much better to recommend to people.

Yeah, I had a feeling about that, sounds reasonable if I just wanted to do a one-month test run and study the video material in depth to glean as much as I could, I imagine people like the month to month flexibility of some things...

I did have a look for Erica Stone's ebook; but it didn't come up in Amazon's store search...a google search took me to her landing page for a free e-lesson, of which I happily downloaded (I like her tone and all, sounds very sincere) I looked for that $29 book course, but did find this:

      Subscribe to OBI

It looks worthwhile and all that, with a $17 per month membership fee, but do want to know if this place is still active before going there...I know like many of us out there, we want to know if something is still active and engaged before paying for it :-)

Like many newbie IMers, I am ready to end the "Shiny Object Syndrome" loop of nonsense. If it doesn't cost a thing, great...I just mean paying for every shiny object out there left and right
