Default Squeeze Pages

It's taken me a while to realize how important it is to build a list (I was wrapped up in building websites). I'm still trying to get my arms around the concept of using a squeeze page for an established site. How should it be done? Aren't squeeze pages standalone index pages?

Regards,

Tony

They are standalone pages (but with sitemap, privacy, terms of service as links also to satisify google) with an autoresponder hook

Here's what I do at one of my main sites.

I use the Flexibility Wordpress theme.

I've built a squeeze page AS a page (ie, not a post). Because it's a page, it shows up in the top navigation.

I utilize numerous ways to drive people to that page, including links in the sidebar, links in the header, links in various forum signatures, etc.

Thus, when people visit that site, the first thing with whicht they're hit is

Is your income as fit as it could possibly be? Click HERE to learn more!

That goes to the squeeze page. Ergo, more signups.

Remember too...you can put your aweber code in your sidebars and rotate that as you'd like to test out what converts the best.

Hope that helps!

I know of 2 people who create "Squeeze" pages for Dentists. They make these pages look like other pages in the sites. They get local consumers to go to the "Squeeze" page based on receiving "Free Teeth Whitening".

One guy gets $75 for everyone who fills in the Form and gets 20 to 40 consumers a month to "sign In".

You could do this for almost any business that has a website. Drive Traffic to the "Squeeze Page" and get paid for each one who fills in the Form.

The squeeze page can be any page you like doesn't have to be the index.
www.yourdomain.com/optin.html can be your squeeze page if you like so.

I have few pages that are /optin.html.
