I try to answer all my emails in a timely manner. Or I send them to my assistant if it's something that may require a few replies (and something she can handle). But I try to get my inbox cleared out pretty quickly. With that being said.. I occasionally get emails from individuals inquiring about one thing or another and then follow up with another email one hour later wondering why I hadn't replied yet. Some time management books or articles say you should check your inbox once or twice a day. Which doesn't seem really feasible (actually, seems incredulous) So, while I took the long way around to the question.. the question is: What is your average response time to emails? Do you prioritize your inbox or are all emails equal? |

I check my email inbox three or four times a day. I make it a point to be VERY responsive and available. When I get emails from subscribers, I usually respond the same day. I wish more people would do the same.
