Solo Ads questions

They don't sell list they sell traffic or clicks that may become part of your list... But for the most part these leads are all freebie seekers and not buyers. A lot of these guys hop from list to list and do nothing but complain.

I never buy solo's I am a data partner...which is not easy at all. I process over 100,000 leads a month...big numbers, but I've been in this business 12 years and I know what I am doing.

If you buy leads from people it really is a form of spam unless you have a sophisticated data management, scrubbing systems and tight controls on the sources of leads. Technically if you buy leads and have such a system, and your source of leads comes from someone that has a privacy policy that allows them to share their information...it is not spam...

But in the eyes of the receiver it is spam. You can signup for something and easily end up on 5 guys list without ever knowing it. Even though their policy says they can sell there data and its not spam... you probably would consider it spam...hit the spam button or something of the sort. We put a HUGE spam button in our email....but all it does is opt them out of our system and puts that person on a suppression list. This never gets reported to isp's and it does not hurt our delivery. The more obvious this is...the better. But I have my own ESP and SMTP so these things I control. If you are using Aweber or GetResponse...well... sorry

MY recommendation...play the game straight unless you are serious about learning the technical side of managing large ESP and data farms.

Let me give you an example. Let's say the solo ad seller has a list of 10,000 people. He mails out offer A to the list and 150 people click the link to check it out. Now he emails offer B to the list and 200 different people click to see the offer. Now he emails offer C to the list and 100 completely new people click and 5 that saw offer A and 10 that saw offer B.

Now a good solo ad seller is also constantly building his list. As subscribers stop checking out offers, the new ones added start.

Solo ads are a hugely popular and effective way to build your list if you are in the "biz opp/make money online" niche.

When you are buying a solo ad, you are buying clicks and not leads. Normally, the solo seller will broadcast your landing page to his list(s) until you receive the agreed upon number of unique clicks.

I disagree that the leads you get from solos are all freebie seekers and tired leads. Of course, not all solo sellers are created equal so your results will vary depending on the vendor.

When you purchase a solo ad, your goal should always be to achieve a positive ROI. There are several aspects that need to be considered if you want to achieve a positive ROI on your solo buys.

First and foremost, you must have a good squeeze page. You want to set a goal of a 40% conversion rate or better, meaning that if you buy 100 clicks you should end up with at least 40 subscribers.

Equally important is having an effective funnel. Personally, I promote CPA offers which pay $100 per sale or more. This way I only have to make one sale and I am already in profit on a 100 click solo. Profiting from a solo ad is great but all you really need to do is break even so that you can cover the cost of your solo ads and in effect build your list for free.

Again, you need a good squeeze page and a good offer on the back end and if you have those there is no reason why you should not be able to be successful with solo ads. Of course, you will need to find a reputable, honest solo seller as well.

So even if you doesn't build your brand yet and you force your self using this solo ads to build relationship to your prospect buyers, would this solo ads still gonna be effective?

You are talking about the Solo Ad provider, is that correct?

You are wanting to know if the SA provider is selling to you and then selling that same list to others, right?

I have been using Solo Ads and I do not even know this answer, just what I've observed.

The site I get my Solo Ads from is a testimonial site. Only if the Solo Ad campaign results in sales can a testimonial be given. Many of the providers I've used are selling clicks to many people.

They must have a way to decide the niche, because people have requested for different niches and so far, from the responses on this site, there have been providers that offer their help.

Maybe there is someone that knows how Solo Ads are sold could provide a more complete answer?
