What would you do with this setup

Hi Folks,
I would really like some practical input on a way forward. I am looking to retire soon-ish (I'm 62y/o). Now I have dabbled with little success in IM, tried Adsense/blogging etc and read/bought several "killer solutions" without real effect or maybe if I'm honest "conviction".
It's not easy pushing it uphill on your own & work ... you know the story.

I can write and I have some cheapish bloggers (basic) contacts.
I have my own hosting for various reasons - so can host sites.
I can build websites and am OK with raw Html, some PHP, WP, CMS's etc.
I can build pages/content or get it written.
I have some sources to drive some traffic (paid etc) so am happy not to rely on the big G. My failing is rather strategy and probably knowledge of the complete chain of setting up the process so it does not overwhelm me time & effort-wise. I considered Autoblogging like WPRobot but can see the issues of duplicate content. I am not familiar with Affiliate selling and I can see from a few weeks of trawling that some bigger movers have lifespans and are already saturated (or am I wrong).

I have a some domains that "could" be candidates for me to work on :
So if you owned domains like 04dating,com, flickthatjob.com, gemdiets.com or even "makemymillion.com" what would you do.

Tired of working hard coming home to stuffed to think, Time to work smart, help please. I need a guide, partner or someone to mentor/cooperate with.
So - is it a build and flick on Flippa (these dont have traffic yet) or build and earn money. (these are only a couple of domain names available)

I really appreciate the input, thanks.

Focus on doing one simple thing that will give you some profit. Get in and build an email list, nurture your prospects, put blinders on and don't be side-tracked.

When you have found a system that is profitable, then figure out how to do it better, faster, and with more automation. Ramp that system up (most likely with focused paid advertising) using the profits you make.

Get rid of all your domain names. They are simply distractions. Choose the market you want to enter, focus on one web site, and don't think about anything else.

You've been in this game long enough to get going. But it seems to me, you've never really given your total effort to doing one thing and doing it well. Begin with market research so you know that the topic you choose has money in it and some unmet needs.

Nothing I'm suggesting is ground-breaking . . . it's the simple elegant system that has been proven to work over and over again . . . yet so many IMers try to reinvent the wheel and blaze their own trail. Creativity in your business is wonderful, but the basic skeleton or backbone of what you're doing does not need to be anything but a proven simple method with persistence and focus added.

    The very best to you,

    Steve
