How to create buzz and pre-launch hype for your website

Hey warriors, my name is Othmane, I have found this to be the best forum in this domaine, so thanks to you guys and everyone that's helping.

I've created this thread because I have a question, I am working on a website right now in collaboration with a friend of mine. I have done my job but he is still programming some functions and he needs approximately one month to make the website ready for the public.
In that time i thought I'd build some anticipation for the website, some buzz and build our social media pages which are "Twitter, Facebook and Google+"
So the main question is : How to create anticipation and hype for your website so that when it's launched, there will be interested people right away to visit it ?

    Great to hear you taking action even before your website is not launched. Well there are ways where you can TRY but cant really Guarantee the hype unless it something new and unique and no one really has what you have to offer.

    It all depends on you website and niche my friend, If your promoting or selling something then give a shout out on Facebook and social media the date but also some special offer for first 10/20/50 or even 100 people can get people who are interested hyped.

    start building a list in that niche or interest in your business.
    Set up a squeeze page and give something valuable away free to people and one they are in then promote to them the release date and the offer available.

    Create a Banner and advertise with offers and also include release date

    I cant really say much as without knowing the business, that's the best i can say but social media is a great start

    Build content that attracts attention and builds anticipation around the desire you fill or problem you solve - then drive traffic.

    In parallel you want to have a partner program in place where you can bring on some JV or affiliate partners to also send traffic to your front-end and can be awarded commission on sales from their referrals. This helps you build the massive traffic you need.
