"best ever..."? Hmmm. Did you ever buy stuff online? If the answer is "YES" that sales page was good because it convinced you to click on the buynow button |
| In the first half of the year we are supposed to work for the taxman. I think that's a mistake. Help me to get rid of the taxman ASAP - thanks! (You, too, should make less mistakes!) | |

As with everything, it depends on the niche. Different sets of buyers respond to different types of sales copy. for example, make money niche, forex niche, etc. tend to favor flashy graphics and fancy sales copy. Health niche, however, sees lots of very average designed sites do well. Writing good copy that will convert consistently is a skill that has to be honed. Study many sites and look for similarities, etc. Get a friend to read sites and tell you what they liked or didn't like because as an internet marketer you will see it differently than your target audience unless that audience is IMers. There are many guides on sales copy writing because it is not a quick answer and is not something that can be answered adequately in a post. Give us your niche and I am sure you will get some sample pages from the warriors here. |

The "Desperate Buyers Only" sales page is very good, IMO. But the point is, you shouldn't/couldn't look at "the best sales page ever" and assume that it would be the best possible sales page for your purposes and on your website. It's just not as simple as that. Arguably, looking at 200 very good sales pages and analysing them in detail would greatly increase your chances of coming up with one, but that's just part of "learning to be a copywriter", really, and there are many books that can help with that (and give examples, of course). |

You can also check "The Rich Jerk" sales page. It's different.
