I was wondering, If I were to create a site which reviews certain dvds with an Amazon affiliate link in each post for each dvd review what are the chances that I could rank in the search engines for an obscure rare film that hardly anyone knows of?

And would the site name have to be the name of the movie, or can it be something like dvdreviews.com?

How easy would it be to rank for a keyword like: "buy obscure movie title dvd" ?

    Don't worry about the domain names.

    Your obscure film idea is great since the film names are obscure.

    Make sure you collect emails though so you can turn temporary traffic trickles into active traffic when you update.

        If there is almost no competition for your target kws and you know how to earn backlinks, sure.

    You can rank a video on page 1 of Google extremely fast, so maybe look into using a video or videos in your marketing strategy.

    I think you have very good chances of achieving Page 1 with that keyword.
