Replace IDs On Sales Page As Members Sign Up??

Hey All,

I'll tell you what I want to do and maybe you can help.

I want to replace member IDs on a sales page as new members join.

i.e. The join link on the sales page belongs to member A. A visitor lands on the page, joins and submits their new ID on the "activate" page. The ID on the sales page now belongs to member B. And so on...

Any ideas or cool software you know about?

    You mean A's link would get replaced by B's link for anyone visiting the page? I'm not exactly sure why you would want to do that, nor how you would prevent fraud, (by people who just sit on the page and keep changing the link back), but yeah, sure, you could do that. Just dynamically display the link belonging to the most-recent registrant from that table. If you were using a MemberID that kept increasing, (e.g., using AUTO_INCREMENT), then just use the greatest value in that table.

    It would only be replaced when a new member joined and submitted their newly created ID on the "activate" page. Essentially I want to build a single line downline where every new member goes under the last who joined.

    You join - You create a username - submit - your ID is now the next in line and the next person who joins goes under you.

    Does that make sense?

    Also, just FYI this would only be traffic generated by my own campaigns. It wouldn't be affiliate traffic. I thought of doing it manually but it would have to be monitored 24/7.
