My first product is a DVD that contains a 2 hour seminar I gave as well as an Ebook. I was planning on selling it through clickbank as I wanted to accept all forms of payment as well as use their affiliate program. Does Clickbank allow you to sell products that ship? If not should I forgo selling actual DVD's? How would I sell the videos and ebook as an instant download? It is 2 hours long. I think the perceived value of an actual DVD is higher so I would be able to charge more, no? Any other companies similar to ClickBank that allows for easy affiliate integration that warriors use? Thanks for all your help! Richard |

Yes you can sell DVDs, but you have to also give them an instant download. Read the CB terms & conditions. |

Oh, I just saw this: Supplemental Material (Optional) You may also offer shipped delivery of printed media (for example books, CDs, and DVDs) to customers, provided that it is clearly complimentary and not essential to the operation of the original digitally downloaded product Would a 2 hour seminar be complimentary? I was going to use that as the main selling point. Now it seems like the ebook needs to be the main selling point. Anyone have experience with this? |

You would be best of making your DVD's digital then having the digital version as your main product but send out physical versions as well if you so wish. I think I would personally make it all digital then if they want a physical version charge more as there is clearly more overhead for the physical version. I have never had to sell anything thats in a physical format though I always stick with digital as it can be viewed straight after purchase. |

There is a way to cut down on your physical overhead with the DVDs. There is a company that will burn, print, package and ship the DVDs for you. I know of a few that use them. I just cant think of their name right off. As far as marketing the ebook, you can push the ebook with the statement that it will "include the DVD of the 2 hour seminar absolutely free. You dont even have to pay shipping!!" and that will add value to the ebook enough to make up the difference in the price. Believe me, it works. |

It is not impossible to sell physical goods via clickbank. They have a few products that are offering a physical product. I think rocket spanish is selling a physical product via Clickbank on the backend. However, Only a couple of Clickbank product have this feature, so I think you have to be a very reputable vendor, and have a good product (low refund and chargeback rate) to be even considered for this. |

Wow, thanks everyone for the feedback. I would like to offer the DVD as a free bonus with Free shipping, but would clickbank stop me from this since I don't have a track record and this would be my first product? Do they look into the person himself? That would help me. I know about the DVD place being talked about, they are called Kunaki and that is who I was going to use. |

If think if you offer the dvds as viewable or downloadable off of your website after they buy you'll be fine. You do that and ship them also. So the shipping isn't necessary for the people to use the product, but its there and adds value so you can charge more.

As long as you're selling a digital product, and offering something physical at the backend you're okay. So don't try to sell anything physical on the sales page, you could get the visitor to optin on the thank you page, and the in the first e-mail when he/she opt-ins, you could put something like 'Free DVD Bonus, please enter your address/info' to get your bonus. I believe CB won't mind this The bottom line is, you can make this work, but you have to sell only digital products on the sales page, and possibly subtly offer the physical bonus on the thank you page. Any mention of offerin a physical product in the sales page itself is a reason to get your product denied of an approval. | |

I have a mate who sells a $297 DVD package as his main product and he has no problems with Clickbank. So it can be done, although you might need to have a word to Clickbank about it though.
