First you have to think about what you are interested in doing online. Are your looking to promote affiliate products, create your own products, do arbitrage, blogging, email marketing, etc.

There are a ton of different paths that you can take online. Once you have an idea of something that is potentially interesting to you can start digging into that method further. If you have an idea of what that is I'm sure we can lead you down the right direction of where to start and what to look for.

It is really good to work in the online sector. There are many people who do this kind of work. Already you started with the CL by Motorcycle. So carry on. Thanks a lot.

Pick ONE method you like and stick with it. Learn it in and out and make it work for you.

    Persist.

The big problem people have here is they don't commit.

They hop from one thing to the next. They try to cobble together a system a little from this person, a little from that, and a little more from this other guy over there. MISTAKE.

Choose one method and persist with it until you make it work.

Do not buy things because they promise you easy money. They won't work. It's not that the tools or products are bad, but that they are TECHNICAL pieces of a funnel you don't see or understand. So they are incomplete.

Never buy anything unless you have identified you have an exact need for this thing to get to where you want to go. If something "sounds cool," but you don't have a specific need for it, do not buy it.

Find ONE method, ONE person to follow, and stick with them. Jumping all over the place will only send you back to--have you played Monopoly? "Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200"--Zero.

Now about your feeling of overwhelm.

That comes directly from having too many options!

    Too much stuff.

    Too many ideas.

That's why narrowing your focus and blocking out the noise is a great plan.

    You'll get certainty from deciding.

Now, IM is a big field of study. You wouldn't expect to jump into medicine, or programming, and learn everything there is to learn about the subject in a day or a week, would you?

Many areas of specialization exist. Take your time. If you find a word you don't understand, LOOK IT UP immediately. Best habit you can learn for yourself, not just here but everywhere in real life.

When you start a new job, do you know everything there is to know on Day One?

Even in a low level job?

If you haven't had a bigger role yet, imagine what that must be like. Not knowing who the suppliers, shippers, supervisors, stakeholders (gee that's a lot of 's' nouns, and completely unintentional) are...how the company does what it does...where the trouble spots are...

It's going to take you 90 days just to figure out the gist of things in that environment.

    No difference here.

I would continue to buy and sell motorcycles on Craigslist but maybe you can expand on this? If you want to stay in the motorcycle niche, you could create your own blog about motorcycles. You could also sell them on eBay. You can become an affiliate of eBay and sell motorcycles through there as well. Create a Facebook fan page about motorcycles as well and lead them back to your blog and your sales pages and ads.

    Hi there,

Are you looking to learn more about Internet Marketing in order to grow your business selling motorbikes? You could expand into parts!

Having worked for a large company who sold all the gear that motor cyclists need, I know there is a huge market so you have a good niche there and I'm sure you know the items of clothing, locks, certain parts of the helmet ( Visors ), chains, that are often replaced or need replacing quite often.

Use what knowledge you have and learn to generate traffic to drive to all the parts you want to sell as an affiliate marketer.

Lots of people view videos on YouTube and Facebook of fast bikes so you really shouldn't struggle generating traffic if you set up a fan page or business page up on Facebook.

It's important you learn how to find videos that you are legally allowed to use and upload onto your Facebook page and a simple Google search will help you learn that and much more.

Get enough people visiting your FB page watching videos and then you can start re-targeting the viewers with FB ads being motorcycle gloves, Visors like I said all the items bikers buy quite often.

I'd stick with what you know and learn all about Affiliate Marketing and FB ads, then learn to drive traffic to what you are selling. It helps when you know about what you are selling.

    All The Best.

You are already a leg up on the very strangers you are asking for advice. Stick to what you know. Ask people who are doing what you are doing how they make more money. Surf the web and cold call people who are successful doing what you are doing. Answer some motorcycle ads and ask the seller if this is their first motorcycle they selling. Look in different cities. If someone ad looks really really nice, chances are they are selling motorcycles at a high level. Ask probing questions.

I guess what I am saying is research and scale up.

What are you most comfortable doing? At first is better to just read some things. For a few days but then decide on something and take action! Taking action is important you don't want to spend 1 year reading and no work done.

If the motorcycle thing is working for you, then I would keep committed and just find ways to make it a little bigger (scale). In my mind, the only reason to change into something else is if you have a personal interest in something else. For money, the motorcycle thing could take you a long ways.
