What to do after releasing first product

Hi warriors..

This week i will be realeasing my first product on clickbank. its in the diet niche.
I have done tons of research on the biggest competitors in my niche and took the best elements of their landing pages and combined it into 1. Why? because i cant reinvent the wheel, but i can improve it..

Anyways.. What am i supposed to do after my site goes LIVE?
I have no clue.. Shall i start by getting direct paid traffic to it to test if it converts?

Or shall i go make reviews on my product and pull traffic to there?

i am listening to any advice and suggestions .....what would you do?

      You will need to have an affiliate training area to attract a lot of affiliates, but you must provide value and a lot of resources. Banners, email swipes etc etc. You should do some research on clickbank and look at other vendors affiliate centers!!

    Do everything, explore all avenues - free and paid traffic, army of affiliates, it will be a never ending journey but it pays every step you make.

      You need to make connections with Affiliates to promote your product. Find affiliates that are in a parallel niche like the Health (meditation, muscles, new moms) niche but NOT the diet niche as they probably won't promote a competing product.

      Find their contact information and reach out to them. Allow them to try your product to determine if it is right for their list. And then go from there.

      If you do get affiliates, as someone mentioned above, you will need to create an Affiliate training page to promote your product.

    I would start with direct paid traffic. I'm not sure what niche you're in, but you can easily reach your target market using PPC, joint ventures, Youtube advertising, building up an affiliate program, and email marketing. Be sure to generate leads so that you can promote to them over and over again. I have found this be an effective way to sell products of all kinds.

    Promote the hell out of it.

    I've spent years of my life creating awesome content... And then not promoting it!

    I honestly believe that the 80/20 rule holds true.

    Spend 20% of your time creating content, and 80% of the time promoting it.

    By the way.... is 32,99$ a "normal" price for a CB diet product? im offering 70% comission and if i make the price much lower it will kill my (affiliate) earnings.

      Affiliates are the best source of traffic for most Clickbank vendors. As some have suggested you need to have affiliate tools tools that will help make the work of affiliates easier.

      To attract the top affiliates your offer must be of high quality and your sales funnel should have high conversion rates.

      To prove to affiliates that you have a converting offer you need to run your own traffic to the offer. If you have been promoting other vendors' offers with decent results, you can try to contact them and ask for reciprocation - if they are in your niche.

    Make sure you are getting your customers on an email list. Offer your affiliates 100% commissions. Your affiliates will drive traffic if they know they can make money. Once people are on your list, THEN focus on making money by promoting other items.

    Yes i already have a email capture on my thank you page. Its really hard to decide what price to give to the eBook tho.... don't want the price to be a obstacle because its too high, but also dont want it to be too low so i earn nothing. haha

    Don't forget about testing. Make an A/B test where you test 2 different landing pages to see which one convert best. Facebook ads can be a really good cheap option to drive very targeted traffic to your site.
