Twitter-Zero Followers?

I didn't tweet for 5 days or so but when I returned everything was screwed up. Yes, I know about the Ddos attacks and their current problems. But according to their help threads my particular problem was fixed (according to twitter) and was a separate issue altogether.

One week ago, i had over 7000 followers and was following about the same number.
Today, both stats say "zero." I can login but can't post. I also can't follow anyone new. However, I am still getting daily emails telling me that I'm getting new followers.

So i clicked the help link and located the zero followers bug issue.Twitter support posted that the bug was fixed on July 31 and that, no, your followers were not deleted.

Obviously, it is not fixed and my account is till in limbo.

But I am not alone. There are over 12 pages of comments with similar sob stories. Maybe it's unfair but I can't help but laugh when some people whine that they had 12 followers and now they're gone. Boo hoo. I mean with those stats how hard is it to start over.lol

There are much ,much worse examples. One guy lost 53,000 followers...and he makes his living by coaching on Twitter!

So the comments keep coming in and they seem pretty slow at fixing it. Considering that Twitter is under siege right now, I'm sure they have their hands full dealing with the hacks.

I just now went to check the help link and got a blank page. My address bar says twitter.com/sessions/destroy

Well, that can't be good!

These are dark days indeed for Twitter.
