I liked the 2nd and the 4th one. The first one for me has too big of an image and I think that it can use a better image. The third one is good but it looks quite flat. Maybe it is just me.

      HI,
      All of them are good.
But to me the first cover image isn't going perfectly with what the name of the cover suggests.

      Thanks

I rather like the 4th one. None of them look bad though. If I had to pick a least favorite, I'd say the first one.

Although I agree that number 1 is probably the weakest, I think they're all very good. They certainly look very "professional", and that's extremely important for this type of image.

An ebook "cover" must give reassurance to the page viewer - it should look like the viewer's idea of what a book looks like. On this point, they all succeed pretty well. But a balance needs to be struck between looking "conventional" and standing out from the crowd. On this note, I think the 'French Cooking Classics' is probably too conventional - it looks like every other cook-book. 'Tea Recipes' however does an excellent job of looking both "bookish" and being eyecatching, it's first class!

Is this the final format - or are you going to create 3D renderings?

So first off the covers are better than some you see on kindle so they are a step in the right direction.

My observation is that they feel templatey. Look at 2 and 3 they are the essentially the same cover.

The title in four is lost as well.

There are loads of resources online for what makes a good cover I'd strongly recommend reading them.

The last three are okay and I really like the subtlety of the third one.

You can understand the subject being mostly related to green tea without them having to actually say it

I've eaten a lot of regional cuisines, but I don't believe I've ever tried "Frensh" food.

Unlike our current school system, spelling does count.
