I need to get 1000-5000 registered users daily to my website (free online game). With average convert rate of 10-20% it means I need 5000-50000 daily visitors. The price (CPC or CPM) should be reasonable, and the targeting: male, >18 years old, 40% german-speaking, 40% english-speaking, 20% french (3 types of advertisement). +I need results fast (at least 5000 daily visitors within 1-2 weeks). We also have our CPA affiliate program but it's yet available only to huge-traffic resources. I tried google adwords and facebook with CPC about 0,3$, but it gives me less than 1000 visits daily. Also collected more than 40 advertisement and marketing resources (megaclick, fastclick, valueclick, michiads, clicksor, paypopup, cpxinteractive, xtendmedia, glispa, doubleclick, adtech, adscale, adbrite, adshopping, easyad, grokads, adengage) but it seems too much work to try them all.. Can you give me idea about biggest traffic generating resources with reasonable prices? Thanks |

You should try advertising on Gaming forums. You can also create videos and upload them to Youtube.com. |

If you get traffic not interested in free online games at all, you could get 200,000 daily visitors without getting 1,000 sign-ups. Might it be easier to try to get more targeted traffic rather than just "more traffic"? Just a question. | |

Well, my advice is to get less targeted traffic than enermous untargeted! The click thru rate is better, than otherwise. No use of people surfing through your site withut looking! So there I agree with Alexa. |

See if you can buy banners on other popular gaming sites. I know you can find such advertisements on gaming sites like addictinggames.com

Have you looked into Radio & TV ads to see if it would fit your budget? A well placed ad on the radio or television still works like gangbusters... just look at all the 'big dogs', where do they advertise? .jrd P.S. Adam, you've got the best 'online' suggestion, (IMHO) purchasing advertising space on the top game sites like this: http://www.addictinggames.com/aboutus/auad.html |

Thanks for the advice about addictinggames About radio - it's much more expensive and doesnt work for online games. Somebody should here the game URL, bring it to the computer and type correctly |

Couldn't you go to that 'other forum' and buy traffic? It might be untargeted and worthless though. |

I suspect that "fast, untargeted" traffic would not be that good. I would go for partnering up with offline media and their online appearance. Bringing the typical casual player to your site who doesn't visit game-forums or -sites. So maybe extensive PR-Work would be the key and maybe some barter/affiliate-deals with online-magazines. I had a little fun-page ... years ago I was discovered by the biggest swiss tabloid which leads to some kind of slashdot-effect (my server crashed within 1 hour) ... and for the next week my traffic was +800%. ... (for one month though *ggg*) regards from Vienna Andreas. |
