Anyone Promoting Foreclosure Products?

Hi,

Is there anyone here promoting foreclosure and Loan Modification products? I'd like to hear from you. I'm getting into this niche with an offline fliers campaign in San Diego so I could, at this point, use some handy tips.

    a license to Ted Thomas' course, and it is selling briskly.

    No real tips other that good seo.

    You google "Ted Thomas course" for example, and I rank
    #2. The #1 listing is actually a digg about my site :-)

          This is a good idea !

          Just make sure your city/county does not offer

          Handbill Distribution Permits

          Because if they do and you do not get it, you will get a fine for passing out flyers as well as littering fines and anything else they want to throw at you.

          Better to be safe then sorry.

            O.K., I'm just going to give my take on this.

            Let's say you go to 20 house's. How do you know any of them would be a prospect for you?. You could go to all of those house's with out anyone needing your product.

            You need to have a targeted list of people that need what you have.

            And I'm thinking that if you are offering something of value that could be a high price info product a flyer is not going to sell it.

            Here's what I would do. I would take out a display ad in your local newspaper. I know what your thinking it's going to be expensive. Not if you know how to buy advertising. You can buy remnant or stand by display advertising for up to 80% of a regular display ad.

            I would offer a FREE report with useful information. Then a salesletter that sells the hell out of your product.

            Lot's of money to be made in foreclosure, you just need to know how to sell it.

    Door to door is very effective, if you go to houses who have just had a NOD or lis pendens filed against them. It requires a requires the ability to build trust, especially with all the negative press, predatory companies and scam artists out there.

    I like Bill's idea of the display ad in the newspaper at 80% off! I need to get more information on that.

    I would be very careful in this niche because it has hit the radar of AG's.

    The government wants all loan modifications and workouts going through gov. sponsored agencies and they will make that happen.

    hi Anthony, glad I found your post. I have been flipping houses, including foreclosures for about 15 years. You can make some incredible money at it...but you can get stung as well.     Hi Anthony,

    The fliers you're passing out, how are you targeting the area or places you're passing out these fliers? The people you want to target are the ones that are in pre-foreclosure or bankruptcy. You can get pre-foreclosure information from the county you are targeting and there are companies that sell bankruptcy leads but stay away from the leads where the home owner just filed bankruptcy those leads are a waste of time because the home owner filed bankruptcy for protection and if they just filed then they are not looking to do anything but make their payments. No sense of urgency. If you need any help just pm me.

    I had a stop foreclosure site that produced leads. When I saw the AG on TV saying that they identifed 71 web sites that they were going after, I took my lead form and phone# down. The site now is for information only.

    I had first page ranking for "stop foreclosure" & "foreclosure prevention".

    Anthony- Do some research on the firm you are promoting. Check their BBB records.
