Sometimes I find it hard searchign Warrior Forum and was thinking that maybe there is a better way to make things stand out. For example we have a sticky it section.. So say there are 5 must have tools for IM.. someone writes about them and it goes in the sticky it section.. The threads should not be duplicated.. Another example might be someone provides a big list of the best sites to find themes for WP.. and so on.. What you guys think about having a section like that? |

I want a good keyword researcher, not for min sites but for tech articles. Hit me up if you've got those skillz!

| I do completely see the attraction in theory! My reservation about it is that in practice, by the time there's a decent collection of stuff in a section like that, it's going to be harder and more time-consuming for people to look through it than it is for them to use the search function - and far too many people are apparently not even willing to do that! So in that sense, it might not serve its purpose, really. |

We used to have a section that was ONLY FAQs - it was meant for those new to the WF and to IM. Threads in that section were filled with facts on how to do things, what you need, where to find info, best tools, and on and on.... ....and guess what? People still joined and asked the same questions. They didn't read through the faq section. Or they'd read through and ask "does this still work" or "is this still best". After a few weeks or months they complain when others ask the same questions they did when they joined. That section was removed some time ago because it didn't work as intended. New members wanted THEIR question answered personally - and that's why you see the same questions again and again. What you are asking for is not a forum - it's a training site where everything is organized and never duplicated. One person's "best WP themes" isn't the same as the next guy's. Having a variety of answers on any given topic allows you to decide which product or method suits you. There is no one "best" way to do anything online. The search function works very well on this forum once you learn how to effectively use the advanced search function. kay |
