Questions about product launch

Hey, I am new to IM and have (what I think is a) good idea for a product. It is going to be a training course based around using the internet as a complement, not a substitute, to making money - I am calling it the Offline Marketing System. I plan on delivering this product by email - one detailed step to each method, motivational reading, informative reading or tips and tricks email per day, trying to make each email 300-400 words and some pictures. I currently have the price at $19.99/month which I think is reasonable. I plan on creating an affiliate program for this product, and I am currently going to set the normal affiliate rate at 50% commission and am going to sell an "Affiliate Membership" at 75% commission for $49.99/month. Do you guys think this is a good affiliate strategy?

v/r,
Steve

My sense is that you would be better keeping it to 2-3 lessons/week and digging in a little deeper on each lesson. Keep the information actionable - when businesses pay for information they want it to be actionable. Motivational/tips/news are fine - but not generally viewed as something they would pay for.

I've worked on projects where there is one deliverable each month - a system or technique in depth with a few case studies and support via Q&A or group coaching - that works very well.

Regarding your affiliate strategy - not sure I am clear on the "Affiliate Membership" idea. 50% of $19.99 is ok - you'll have to get some serious launch activity going and setup a good sales funnel to kick this off.
