Need Help Selling PLR

Hi Warriors,

I have been writing PLR articles and blog posts for awhile and now I have been trying to sell some of my article package. I have been getting views to my classified ad and even though it is a special offer, I make no sales. I am baffled.

I am selling PLR in the passive income niche for $1.

Could anyone offer me any advice?

Thanks!

It's an uphill battle for selling only plr articles unless you are established. Most plr sales these days are complete packages of content that includes a combination of ebooks, graphics, articles, videos, ready-made sales pages and squeeze pages...and a lot of them go for $7-$17.

PLR is dirt cheap, and membership sites with a huge stock of plr is where the money is made.

I am going to second what Joan has said.

You need to start looking at creating some complete PLR products with sales pages and graphics.

There is so much PLR out there that you need to stand out from the crowd.

You could try contacting a number of the big PLR distributors and see if they are interested in a resale licence?

Are your PLR licences limited to a number of sales?

Thanks for the replies. I find them very helpful.

I am just starting out and I was going to limit the number of sales. But, I will check out some major PLR sites, as well. I know that they accept PLR from writers, too.

      Thanks!

    Do you have tried Fivrr?
also it is best to start with making your own email list and sell your plr products and other quality stuff to them. but don`t forget to send also free quality informations through follow ups.

I was just looking at buying some plr today, and honestly, I probably won't buy a plr now if it's not a package. Like what the others have said, it's becoming more common to produce complete done for you plr.

If it's a choice between a $1 articles pack and a $7-$17 mega plr package, I'd go with the second option because I like having more content to play with.

You should definitely try adding something else to go along with your articles to make it more attractive for potential buyers.

    Best of luck to you

If you must sell PLr which are cheap then you need a plartfrom where readers hang out. One major place i sell my own plr is on fiverr. its all about packaging and branding, you need to provide value to your reader in the form of the plr and you will then create a gig about the plr you are giving out in form of an ebook that sove a problem.
Doing this alone will generate you some sales to your paypal

To echo what others have said, maybe you should consider expanding your offering.

Instead of offering just articles, add in reports, ebooks, email follow up, and salesletters to make a mega pack.

If you insist on selling articles only, you should sell a big lot of them for a low price to entice buyers. Like 100 articles for $20 or something.

    I know I'd buy that.

Here is an idea for you.

Create an report (compile 10 - 15 articles into a report), sell that report as a main product and sell the PLR rights as an option....

You may want to create different reports and sell them this way .

Since you can write, you may want to just create products for sale....its more profitable than selling $1 per PLR article.

Thank you I appreciate the idea. I will try that, too!

I have heard of people offering PLR in an OTO in a sales funnel.

Definitely look to find some up sell ideas. Most people won't even look at PLR articles simply because there is not a lot of value in getting them. Set up something a little bigger to start with an up sell your customers. Like:

    - Front End Offer: PLR report (15-20 pages)
    - Up Sell: PLR ebook
    - Second Up Sell: complete package with graphics and 10 articles
    - Downsell: 10 articles (500 words each)

PLR is a business that has a lot of repeated customers so make sure you get great content in front of them to capture more sales. Then cross promote: offer them 25% discount on their next purchase and make sure you show them something related. If someone bought a report on weight loss I am sure they would love to get another one of fat loss too.

Also make sure you build your list of buyers (and non-buyers as well) to keep them coming back for more.

As a final tip: offer limited copies. It helps bring the value up, knowing not a lot of people are going to get that content. Make sure you deliver on that promise tough...

    Cheers
    Dan

    How many are these articles?

Online you can find hundreds of quality articles for a handful of dollars.

I suggest you use this method.

    - OPTIN PAGE + TRIPWIRE (max. $7).

    - EMAIL FOLLOW UP

    - CORE PRODUCT (YOUR PLR)

    - PUT SOME UPSELLS

This way you can also afford target advertising.
