So far I have installed SEO Plugin that's supposed to help with Keywords and title of my blog, I have made the URLs for my blog have the blog titles, submitted articles, wrote original content, have a youtube video. I have submitted to almost all the social networking sites and directorys and Forum posting. I have 900 followers on twitter. The site is about 2 weeks old and I only get 14 views a day. So I'm looking for more options free and paid. Oh and I already know about PPC.

Very popular question that has a lot of people stumped. What makes or breaks you is not the content of your site its how many visitors you get day after day. There are absolutely hundreds of ways to drive traffic to your sites.
    Web 2.0
    Blogs
Submitting products to paydotcom clickbank etc
    Youtube
    Facebook
    Commenting others blogs
    JV launches
In house changes such as your 404 error page
    SEO
    List building
    Giving something away for free
    Traffic exchanges
    Safelist
    List Swaps
    Twitter
    PTC
    PTR
    PPC
    Bookmarking sites
    Adding a bookmarking widget
Adding a retweet link at the bottom of each post and so much more...

MDalton10, Web 2.0 is just another term for the socially interactive web, the web that is built by people: blogs, facebook, myspace, forums. Second to this is that content has been separated from format, meaning the content can be grabbed and redistributed elsewhere with RSS feeds or by changing a theme in a content management system (CMS).

What I think SeanSupplee meant was that all of these interactive social spaces are rich for planting your SEO seeds, creating back-links to your website to promote it. Social bookmarking is the act of putting a link back to your site from a social space (a Web 2.0 space).

Web 2.0 is a new standard. Web 2.0 simply means some web site in which has interactive qualities. Such as your own profile, some way to communicate with many others on a wide scale.

MDalton10 Ill hook you up with this little tid bit to help you out with your commenting on other blogs. Go and get commentsniper.com

the site is only two weeks old and you're getting 14 visitors a day...that's not too bad...I'd keep on doing what you're doing and let the site "cook" and age a bit. Do you have a pinglist on that badboy?

you should also look into squidoos and article marketing.

takes time but its free =D
Sweet thanks for that program :-) Maybe i'll write a review about it. I already have a Squido page and a new article is written about every other day.

        What else can you do?

How many sites do you have?

I use to focus on one site and it was not until I started to build more that I saw how IM/SEO really worked. Having more sites allowed me to try different things.

About one out of five sites really do much ... I have 20+.

        Things I have learned ...

You can not build backlinks too fast. Yeah some scream and holler sandbox so if they are all high PR yes it can hurt.

Content is not always king but can only help. Being a thin affiliate is not the best long range goal I recommend at least 200-350 words per page once you start ranking your site in the serps just make sure your home page has that for starters.

Look for highly focused niches and then focus on about 2-3 keywords per site and develop your backlinks around those.

Here's something nobody has mentioned yet:

How about trying some good old fashioned 'real world' advertising/marketing?

Are there any locations near you that you could distribute some flyers/brochures/business cards/marketing materials for free? Supermarkets, chamber of commerce, other businesses? People who could spread the word for you locally?

Don't forget about the newspapers/radio/tv ads...

Remember, the marketing industry has been around waaaaaaay longer than the interwebs... there is still a very lucrative 'real world' out there... you just need to get out there...

Try something different to stand out amongst the crowd.

    Start local, grow global.

Also you can use sites like Yahoo Answers, Forums.

Here is something else. Do a search for your keywords and find the highest ranked blogs, forums, social media, whatever you can post on. Thats where you should hang out.
