Is someone stealing my affiliate commissions

Hi guys

In pretty confused that one of my sites is getting good targeted traffic yet is making no affiliate sales.

I do have another not related site that is promoting the same offers and making sales regularly.

Funny thing is my traffic logs tell me that people are clicking on affiliate links regularly
Yet no sales. . This is very wierd.

The site has been up for more than 8 months now and had resulted in only 2 sales. .. while my non related website has made much more sales. The content for both sites are top notch.

Any advice. . How i can find out what is wrong. I would like to not disclose the website if i can. .

Is someone stealing my sales ?

No one is stealing your sales Gabbarsingh.

It would be useful to look at both websites!

However, we have to see the quality of the traffic, and how much targeted traffic is coming.

It could be that the quality of traffic is one of the sites is much higher than the other.

It should be noted also the structure of the site.

One could encourage conversion to the other.

Even a possible review of the products better than the other could explain these differences.

At this point, impossible to say if you're being shaved. CPA networks will typically allow you to run conversion tracking (tracking pixel), which is something you should be doing. Tons of variables can impact conversions, not all of which amount to CPA commission theft: everything from traffic origin and landing pages to headlines and images.

Most likely no one is stealing your sales.

If you really want to be 100% sure, you can always buy from your own link to test it out, or ask a friend to do it if the affiliate program doesn't allow buying from own link.

I doubt if someone is stealing your sales. Why not go HARD and put 200% in the other website that you have that's making all the money?

        Okay, I'll help.

        Tell me a few things:

        1. Number of daily unique visitors to your website (not article, website).
        2. Once published, what are you doing with the blog post?
        3. How many uniques has the post had?
        4. What offer are you promoting?
        5. Commission type? PPL, PPS, Revshare?
        6. Network/ Affiliate Program?
        7. Contextual link to offer or banners?
        8. How are you monetizing the articles? (Extension of 7 above)

I could also do with you posting the site and the article you reference, but I can take a stab with the above info. No one can give you a sensible answer without 1 to 8.

HI Tom here is some info

Average unique visits between 5 to 7 a day

Once published i am promoting on facebook page , other social channels and some back linking commenting

Its a affiliate program /Comission on sale (not network )
          Contextual link to website
          Monetizing with affiliate links

To give you stats on links clicked

Ive had 54 clicks on affiliate link and 11 clicks on shortened affiliate links and still only two sales so far - while i get many more conversions for a similar styled written article on the other website

The other website gets an average of 60 to 75 a day traffic

          thanks
