absolute best support desk script. any idea's

Im sick of my old support script

what are the better ones available these days?

I need on that the newest ticket rises to the top of the list, for some reason, some by default do not do this..

I use Maian Support Desk but unfortunately it's no longer available. It's very good!

Hi mate.. you seem to understand these pretty well

I'll be using multiple staff to manage it.

budget is not that much of a concern if I get a very workable and reliable script.. which do you suggest?

Kayako is excellent - it's the one I settled on after checking out a good few.

yes this is the one I chose..

why?

it intergrates with my Vbulletin board

makes it a no brainer huh

very cheap too.. Under $100 with the installation thrown in... I checked with their support.. 1. (the response time was adequate), about questions I had, and they can install and have it talking to my VB, even though forum and help desk are on different accounts on my server.

Where did yoy find Kayako for under $100 with installation? I looked at their site and it says $300.

I use TicketDeskPro on my Neurolinker Website. It was very easy to set up and works like a charm. At $47 it won't kill your budget either. Highly recommended.

Sorry for the confusion..

You are absolutely correct..

I mis read their rates..

the version I wanted ended up being $499 + 69 Install...

I would have grabbed it, though they didn't take paypal.

So I got a very nice free one and got my guys to customize it to suit..

Ditto. I use it with over 50+ departments. Never had a single issue. And their support staff and forums are superb.
