I know there are several wordpress image plugins out there but I think they are too advanced for what I need. I hate when I save images that are decent size (300x425 for example) and when I import them to my blog they get "crunched" and end up being 122x122. Is there a simple plugin that just prevents this and doesn't do anything fancy like smart image resizer? Thanks in advance |

Actually when you upload an image to your WP installation through the Add Media link, WP does the following: 1. uploads your image in its original size 2. creates a thumbnail size image on the fly 3. creates a "mid-size" image on the fly The size for #2 and #3 can be defined by going to your admin panel > Settings > Media: type in the desired sizes. Next, when you add an image to your post - make sure you select the right size by clicking on one of the radio buttons (thumb-medium-large-full) before adding it to your post. |
| In the first half of the year we are supposed to work for the taxman. I think that's a mistake. Help me to get rid of the taxman ASAP - thanks! (You, too, should make less mistakes!) | |
