Hi! I downloaded a PLR package about a particular theme. In it, there was a Wordpress template and it is just what I need. However, I am accustomed to just downloading the zipped files for themes. This came in a folder with a bunch of bits and pieces that say PHP and MO. How do I take all of those and download them into my cpanel as one big theme?? Help! CC |

Not sure from your post, but if you mean what I think, you just downlaod the whole folder into the themes folder then install in via the control panel.

Can you list what files you are seeing in the folder? Please be specific. Thanks! |

I would have to see what you are looking at in order to shed more light. If you could attach or PM me a screenshot, that would be great! -Christian |

"This came in a folder with a bunch of bits and pieces that say PHP and MO." "and on and on... There is not one folder, but all these components" No offense, but you're not making sense. |

Just hit your print screen button and open up paint. Edit paste! Then save that as an image and attach it here. ![]() -Christian |

Pretty sure those aren't theme files. Be careful what you upload in what places. I'd recommend you go into your web server and look at what files in a current theme you have loaded looks like and that will give you some indication as to what you can be looking for in your new package of files and folders. |

Upload the entire folder that contains the bits and pieces. Use your FTP program or the file manager in cPanel to place that folder as a sub-folder under wp-content/themes. Then go to your WP admin appearance page for themes, and you should see it there. Steve |

Thanks Steve for reinforcing what I said. (but I think you were more eloquent) Sellerscompanion, I'm not sure, but it also looks like your image folder needs to be unzipped. |

Those are theme files. Like others have stated, just take that entire folder and upload it into the theme directory (wp-content/themes) and activate it within your Wordpress control panel. This should work, let us know. -Christian |

You can upload unzipped folders as well, just for future reference. -Christian |

The .mo files are for localization (Machine Object files) containing the different locales. If the user installs WP in their own language and the localization for that language exists (e.g. es_ES.mo - for Spanish) the theme would switch automatically to display the WP components in that langauge.
