Is it possible to have 1,000+ paying members on a PLR monthly membership site?

Hello People...

Just as the title says... Is it possible to run a PLR monthly membership website and have over 1,000 paying members?

What if the products are categorised but are just ebooks, scripts/software, complete turnkey websites, templates, videos, etc. (both old and new)?

How long before a site hits a paying member count of 1,000+?

What would it take to market it to hit that number?

How much would be an ideal membership price per month?

I know no one will give this information out easily (and for free), but I'm sure a lot of us are willing to unlock the secrets to the membership code and some help (and a lot more of it still) is available in Warrior Forum and its members. Request you all to make valuable contributions to this thread.

Thanks in advance

I have never tried this but I would guess that PLR is getting pretty old these days and people don't like to pay for it. However I could be wrong and would love to hear what others think.

Well that's far from the truth... You may be sick of paying for it but there will always be a market for QUALITY PLR material.

    Hello,
it comes down to a certain price point and then there can be up sells galore.
I am on my way to doing just that.

I am starting something similar soon with a WSO. I will be providing limited numbers of PLR articles I write and selling them in packets.

If you provide quality then there will always be buyers.

Exactly. Quality PLR material is what I'm talking about. But, how would you go about building a membership site that converts 1,000 people into buying it? I'm assuming at least 20,000 people would need to see it. No?

    theultimate,

Certainly possible if you have a great product, lots of
targeted tarffic and good sales copy. 5% conversion
(20,000 / 1,000) is high, and most 5 figure copywriters
wouldn't guarantee such a tremendous response from
a sales letter. But possible? Sure, I'd say so. You never
    know until you try.

1,000+ members could also mean plenty of support headaches as well.

Yup, you've got to take the good with the not so good

Those are some interesting perspectives there. I could manage to hire a support staff/team of 2, when the number even hits 500 paying members. So, that's possible.

Andy, that's right. 5% is too high a conversion rate. But that would mean I would probably need about 50,000 ready-to-buy visitors. What could bring such a traffic of that size? Any thoughts?

On the internet you could achieve nearly anything. So yes it is possible.

I think it would be safe to say that if your products are "unique", then you can achieve that level of active members.
