Hello everyone, Im new here. Im just venturing into affiliate programs and ad networks and I have a question. If I'm going to make a review website, would It be better to make a website focused on one niche or can I make a review site where I review all types of products.

    Narrow focus is best.

Definitely niche down, large review websites already exist with a lot of hitting power and trust. You are in for a rough road if you try to beat a large review website, though if you are the only person providing reviews for a niche set of items, then you can become an authority a lot faster.

Do only 1 niche. You'll drive yourself nuts trying to handle multiple niches yourself. Is it possible that you can do your affiliate marketing via email marketing only?

    Why can't you do both?

Make a web site in one niche and review lots of products within that niche.

Most likely specialty down, substantial audit sites as of now exist with a great deal of hitting power and trust. You are in for an unpleasant street in the event that you attempt to beat an expansive survey site, however in the event that you are the main individual giving audits to a corner arrangement of things, then you can turn into a power a great deal quicker.

    Hi,
Just make a site on the same Niche and give a lot of great valueable information,
The more value you give the better the chances of them liking you.
Try having an optin form and give more value and give them more and more value so they trust you and then you can start peomoting the products...

People will invest in someone they like and trust so position you website so that you provide value to them in the most simple setup....

Hope that helps and wish you best of luck....

you can go either way. if you want to review in other niches, create your sub domains for those niches. to keep it simple though, i would focus on one niche at a time. when you are ready to scale, buy another domain for the other niches

It sounds like you don't have a business model. Figure out your business model first, then figure out which products to promote based on that. A business model isn't, "I'll promote X, Y and Z products." A business model is how you're going to provide value to your customers. No value = No customers = No revenue. And that's true regardless of the products you promote or the affiliate program(s) you join.

Better just to focus on one niche. If you are the only one that is going to write then you won't have time and resources to cover all other niches.

1 niche. It keeps your website more organized and your audience more focused and targeted.

I myself would get involved in at least a few different niches and make one site per niche to keep things targeted. Each site would have it's own domain name that would be specific to that niche.

    Hey Nate,

In my opinion (you may disagree) I would stray away from review sites for affiliate marketing (especially if you're new).

I feel like the easiest and most straight forward way is to make money with email marketing.

Create a squeeze page promoting a free offer that they get when they opt-in (eBook, PDF, Video Series, etc.)

Then drive traffic to that squeeze page with solo ads & forum marketing. These are the two most effective ways in my opinion.

    Hope this helps

    Adam

I’d suggest focusing on one niche at a time. If things work well, you always have the option to cover other niches. But to start off, you definitely need to stay focused to a single niche.
