Never Let your Small Business make you Small Minded
Whether it is fear of screwing it up, fear of ridicule, fear of success, fear of ourselves.
Fear is what most of the time paralyzes us.
And most importantly, it makes us think small.
I was listening to a Brendon Burchard's webinar and he lays out a beautiful yet simple phrase.
"Don't let the doubt in yourself prevent you from thinking bigger".
And sometimes we look at our own small business and we don't think past our current business' barriers.
I do it all the time!
However, if we take a look at the big dogs, at those that are already where we want to be right now,
They were also small businesses at some point.
The main difference between them and the rest of the business owners is that they decided, at some point, that the size of their businesses was only a circumstance.
And that their business will never grew past of what they think it was possible.
So basically, there is nothing wrong with your small business.
With your lack of traffic.
With your small cashflow.
Or with your daily struggle.
What's wrong is what's inside of your head.
Your expectations about what your business could be.
And what it can become.
And following what Brendon Burchard was saying,
"It's not about what kind of expert you are, or what kind of business you have right now, it's about what your business will become or what expert you will be!"
Nobody is born an expert.
We all become one.
The question is: Will you do the work required to become an expert in your field?
Will you do the work that's required to produce quality content that people love?
Will you take your chances head on and work every day on what's most important?
Will you become an expert?
Will you make your business grow?
And it's not about working your ass off every day, twelve hours a day.
Anybody can do that.
It's about working smart enough to make each of those twelve hours count.
So focus on what's most important for your business.
Focus on what will make it grow.
Focus on how to grow your list and expand your customer base.
Focus on how to make each of your clients tell a friend about your business.
Focus on how to provide massive value to them.
And you will become an expert.
In my opinion, everything else is the fat that you need to cut out from your business diet.
