Default delicious tagging question

Many of the social bookmarking sites use different 'deliminators'
some handle only single keywords and handle keyword phrases with varying results (technorati is said to not do well with 3 word phrases)

about the ones that do not use comma deliminators, like delicious for example...

How do you guys and gals tie keyword phrases together?

Does anyone have any hard data about A)using a hyphen to connect keywords B) jamming the words together in one word or C) using an underscore to connect the words?

(FYI propeller is the only SB that I know of that requires underscores to connect it's dots and I am kickin a** and taking names by taking that extra step)
