If you rewrite an entire news article manually is it still considered curation?

If you went to a few news sites and took in their views on a news story and rewrote your own article based on this news story is it considered curation or...?

      No, curration is when you take that article, give them credit, add to it and publish it on your site with the part you added being original.

      There are slight variations but that's the gist of it.

        Exactly Patrick you couldnt have said it better cause there are two different thing entirely. When you rewrite an article it becomes unique if you rewrite it thoroughly in your own words. But curating article is using the same article as it is but giving credit to the original owner of the article either by linking to them.

      I agree. If you wanted to I guess you could list each source underneath the article sort of like a bibliography, but I don't think that's even necessary in this case. As long as your article is 100% original you are fine.

    curation is when you do not change the words of the original article and publishing as it is without any changes and linking back to the original page.

    However taking knowledge from differents sites putting it together and creating a unique content from it will be referred to as researched content
