There's No Magic Pill Just Focus On These 3 Things

Hey warriors mainly newbies, there is no magic pill, no magic push button software to make money rain from the sky.

It takes hard work, focus, and dedication.

The three things in my opinion you should focus on are:

1: TRAFFIC
2: OFFERS
3: TRACKING

These can be broken down further but these like I say in my opinion are key.

Focus on one traffic source, one converting offer and one tracker.

By keeping focused on one thing at a time you can stop jumping around buying every new product that gets released.

Let me break this down further.

Offers - you can ask an affilate manager what the highest converting offers are.

What high gravity clickbank products there are or what the top sellers are on jvzoo or warriorplus or any network.

TRAFFIC - if you are going down the free traffic route focus on only one source.

This could be articles, videos, twitter, you get the idea.

Pick one, for example videos. Do a search on video marketing read an article take action on it and test if it works.

Don't keep reading and never test anything out you won't get anywhere.

Stick to your choosen traffic source then when you start getting conversions/sales you could move onto another traffic source to scale up and make more conversions from your offers

Same goes if your going down the paid route, focus on one source. Could be Facebook ads, Bing, twitter ads, media buys, pick one and stick with it.

TRACKING

I think you get the idea by now pick one way of tracking your links.

You can simply use a free tracker like bit.ly to track your clicks or invest in a paid tracker.

What you must do though is learn how to use your tracker and revise the results.

So there you have it in my opinion like I say what I think you should be focusing on going forward.

Hope this helps at least one person, let me know your thoughts.

    Very good advice.
You don't need a couple of hundred web sites either, just stick to one and drive traffic, sit bac, and relax.

True... but for Intermediate marketers, the focus must be on CONVERSIONS.

It's too easy for people's eyes to glaze over 'crazy' traffic...

It takes serious attention to detail to focus on sustainable CONVERSIONS that can also be scaled up.

I agree you need to be always testing to get higher conversions but that breaks down further in my offers and tracking point.

Yes those are some great tips, it takes dedication
to get a real business off the ground, and hey if
you have a little money to invest on traffic that
will definitely speed up the process.

    To success!

I'd almost say there is a 4th which is focus. Pick one thing and do that really well. Don't chase the next shiny object. Don't give up after a week because you have no traffic. Just put your head down and grind it out.

Yes I agree focus is another but I mentioned it enough times throughout this post so I didn't want to create it as another point lol.

Not sure what you mean by this? Maybe you are implying don't keep reading or searching for new ways to make money ??

But for me I am continually reading and learning on a daily basis. You can never know too much in life

No what I mean exactly is not to try and keep reading and reading a topic that will never get you anywhere. I mean to read something and then test it out see what works then go and read something else.

too many people will keep reading and searching until they get it 100% perfect.

I also agree that you will always be continually learning about mew things different updates twists etc.

So to summarize your top five are:

    Offers
    Traffic
    Testing
    Tracking
    and...
    Focus

Yeah. That's a good list. That's pretty much the entire game.

This is basic information I agree but too many newbies try to overcomplicate things and try to do too many different things at once and never really make any progress.

By getting back to basics you can focus on one offer one traffic source one tracker until you are getting conversions then look at how you can increase conversions before moving onto another traffic source and scaling the campaign.

Glad you added focus to the list. I have seen more Internet marketing dreams fail over the years because people fall for the grass is greener temptation and jump around from one thing to another, never making money in any of them.

I really liked that part. Good post.

Can you expand a bit more on the tracking part?

    Thanks

      Sure.

it depends on whether you are use free traffic or paid traffic. With paid traffic and a tracker you are able to see which keywords are converting for you and which are not along with which ones have a higher ROI.

With free traffic you could use bit.ly, although this is a url shortener it allows you to track the clicks each link gets.

Would maybe adjust that to TARGETED TRAFFIC..meaning getting after people that are ready to buy.

Have wasted too many time on traffic which didn't converted...all a waste of your time and money.

    The rest you then tweak...

Good luck to all of you

And I think it's a nice sharing! But it would be much better if you add more details about TRACKING - I mean sources, ways, analysis etc.
