Got an offer that converts. What's next?

Hi;

I got a $47 dating offer (products a video program) that converts ~2% on cold traffic (ppc).

Unfortunately the traffic source is not that big to scale.

What would you do next? Approach some affiliates? More testing? Other traffic sources?

Cheers

    Split test landing pages, what's said above, and find new sources to test. Work on getting a higher % per sale. Keep testing ads to get a higher CTR.

    You should always be split testing your ads and landing pages, but once you have something that is working well then you should mostly be focused on scaling it. There are thousands of places to advertise, so you should just copy your campaign to other traffic sources and see how it does. As long as you are tracking things, then you should quickly see which are working and can cut out any that aren't.

    Each traffic source has it's differences though, so don't necessarily expect it to just be a matter of copy/paste. You need to make sure you fully understand the traffic source and all the targeting options that they have available, since these can make or break a campaign.

    And sure, if you own the offer, then feel free to approach affiliates and affiliate networks. This can explode your traffic with little work on your end, but be sure to track the affiliates and get rid of any quickly that are sending bad quality. If your offer is CPS and not CPL, then this is much less of an issue, but it still needs to be tracked either way. I have seen CPS affiliate offers get paused before just because the product owner was not tracking properly and suddenly started getting tons of refunds/chargebacks and had no idea who was even responsible for it, lol.

    You might want to experiment with different traffic sources like links in books on Kindle's dating categories.

    When potential book buyers look through a category of books, they often check out the first page of the book when they click on the "LOOK INSIDE" cover of the book.

    Put your link there and get them on your list and send them your dating offer.

    Why do this? These people are SELF-SELECTED-ie., they are already looking for dating solutions.
