A day in the life of ...

Hi guys,

How do your typical days look like? What are you doing on a daily basis? How much time do you spend on average on your business? Do you alternate times of full work and holiday-times?

Would be interested to hear some stories :-)

Agreed...it's OUR model, our individual solution.

There are many paths to success. Not just one yellow brick road.

You need to figure it out for yourself.

For me, Pomodoro and such don't work. I don't like breaks. I get in the thing, and get it done no matter how long the grind takes. Interrupting me is not a good idea.

For you, that could be a terrible method.

Find your "Golden Hours", what Inc. Magazine quoted me on.

      When do you work best?

For me, 7AM - noon are my Golden Hours. I get my grunt work done then. By mid-afternoon I'm tired. After around 7PM I get renewed energy and this second wind works until midnight or 1AM.

If someone or something were to threaten blocking my 7AM - noon work time, I would be aggressive about dealing with it. For instance, something that keeps me up late is a "bad thing" because means I will be asleep during hours that should be my most productive.

For you, an entirely different energy pattern could be in evidence.

The key is to find what works for you. Then manage yourself to maximize your results. Modeling your day on someone else's isn't a great idea.

I typically wake up late (10am). Don't spend much of my time marketing everyday. Maybe 2 hours per day. I also workout to keep a good body shape. And of course i have to get my morning *nookie*. After that it's chillin in bed..... Food Network all day.

Haha! Funny you should say that, Robert. I'm hoping to send you something in the next few weeks, you and a few other people whose opinion I respect, and you'll certainly get quite a bit of insight into what I do between watching our frustrated lunatics on Warrior Forum vent their nonsense, eating doughnuts, and fending off the requests of my wife to watch Sandra Bullock movies. I hope you'll like it!
