Alternatives to Article Marketing and Blogging

Hi there,

Just a quick question - I have a hubby with a new site up but he is allergic to writing articles, blogs etc - claims he gets blank page syndrome and while I have tried to help him with that I think to be honest he is looking for something easier to do - at the moment he would rather build another product rather than market the one he has -

So are there any good, free alternatives to article marketing, that won't require him to type too much I have been thinking about forum and blog comment posting and Yahoo Answers - any other suggestions?

Thanks
Lisa

There are several auto blog script which pull articles from article directory..
That means your blog will automatically update every day or every week..you can set it up..
But I think its kinda greyhat...

    Hi Lisa,

You can buy Resell Rights Products that allow you to resell the product and keep all the profits. Resell rights basically give anyone that has it the right to resell it on their own website, provided that the product is unchanged.

Alternatively, you can buy Private Label Rights products. This is even better than Resell Rights in that you can actually alter the content and actually put your own business name, your own graphics and your own branding on the product, so it looks like the product was created by you. This is a very easy 'copy and paste' model that anyone can use.

I agree with Fabian, PLR might be the way to go.

If he likes to build sites more than keeping them going, he might want to get some content loaded up and then flip it so he can start the next one.

From your question, it is difficult to tell exactly what an appropriate solution might be.

What kind of "products" is he building? Is it software? Or is it just "ideas" for websites?

Anyway, a great alternative to article marketing is pay per click. Of course this is not free and it REALLY depends on what your husband is up to exactly. However, if done right, PPC can be very effective and actually makes you money. Might be worth considering...

Go with PLR for the blog - but for article marketing it won't fly. What about using something like Angela's backlinks to start getting traffic coming in? Other social bookmarking techniques might also be helpful.

    HI everyone,

Thanks for the responses, I really appreciate it.

Frontline Mentor do you know of any scripts that will do that? I agree it is not something that I would use - is this like word o matic (I think that is what it is called)?

Fabian and Peggy, yes that is what I had thought - he is basically setting up niche sites so this idea could work well, thank you

RedFox thank you for your suggestions - at the moment hubby is working on membership sites and I can see how PPC could work well with that - might be something we have to study up on - thank you for the suggestion

Courtney - I hadn't thought of social bookmarking, silly me - thank you for reminding me of it

    Have a great day
