Hi,

Does anyone of you have experience with selling membership subscriptions as wso´s?

What are your opinions on membership subscriptions?

Many have, but the last I heard, Warrior Payments doesn't support subscriptions (that may be outdated info)

There are, however, many other options for subscriptions on a WSO.

      Carsten,

This is just my opinion . . . others will tell you differently . . . but consider this:

Unless you are planning a very very cheap monthly price (like maybe $2) for your subscription, I think there is better strategy for getting recurring payments.

I'm talking about the model where you sell a top quality product (or several) and then offer the membership alternative as a higher end upsell for those who really want more in-depth information in the niche or maybe they want to be part of a community of die-hard fans in the niche. There typically seems to be 10-15% of your niche buyers who will go for this type of upsell.

It's expected that the price of the "elite" membership might be anywhere from $29 to $99 per month for access to the "really good stuff" or maybe personal access to you.

If you were to charge $29-$99/month for a niche WSO, you would probably severely limit the pool of your potential prospects since most WSOs, it seems to me, pride themselves on their "cheap" rock bottom price. As you know, a WSO is supposed to be a special price for Warriors only off the normal retail price point.

But by making your membership an upsell of previous buyers that know you and the quality of your products, you have pre-qualified all your prospects because you know they are in your niche, have already bought from you, and they are being offered membership in an "exclusive" club or fraternity.

      Anyway, give it some thought.
