Adsense or Clickbank
Just started to blog at arimoney.com. Should I apply for adsense or simply use clickbank as money generation method.
#adsense #clickbank

I would start with Clickbank. Everything is pretty much done for you,all you have to do is drive traffic to your affiliate links (I know, easier said than done).

I don't think Adsense is a great monetization strategy, but that's just from my experience. I mean there are people that make 6 figures a year running adsense sites, but they know how to drive a ton of traffic. Just my two cents...

I would use Adsense (to start) on your blog's pages but......

I would use clickbank to upsell people who sign up for your mailing list.

If you don't have a list yet, get started.

Both are different ad networks. Clickbank is CPA or CPS networks which pays you commission when you made a sale. While Adsense is CPC and CPM network which pays you for clicks and impression. Starting with adsense is a great especially if you are completely noob about affiliate marketing.

Exactly, I fully agree with the VISHWA. In my view, you should start with the Adsense, because you will get commission for every click, here no need to sale. On the flip side Clickbank will give you commission, after doing sale. No sale no commission. As a first time, you should start with the Adsense. When you will have a good traffic & page rank. Then you will do the Clickbank. I hope, I made you understand.

It depends on the quality of your website.

If your website looks not so good, start with AdSense, because people scan your website for a way out. And AdSense is a way out for your visitors and a way to make fats money from that visitor.

Now on the other side, what if your website looks great, then use click bank. People like your website and start to trust it. So you want to give them a link that you trust as well. Trust as in making you money for a sale.

Clickbank if you are looking for Affiliate Products to promote to your niche.

Adsense if you want to generate traffic to your offers.

It all depends on your niche. Getting real here... Let's say you have a recipe niche. Or a fashion niche. Clickbank would NOT help you here, as CB is mainly targeted at selling things to desperate people.

With an exception of a small minority, Clickbank's products mostly suck, and people would have to be desperate to buy them. If you have a niche that caters to these types of people you'll make money. If not, you're going to be better off with adsense, or even Amazon if that's an option for you.

    Good luck!

Absolutely nothing wrong with applying and receiving an account with Adsense. Its a great way to "get on the board" and get some Income flowing in.

And long term on some Sites I do both. It can work effectively for you in some Niches.

I would go with Clickbank but I would not promote just any product. I would go with a product that can earn me residual income and an extra income from backend UPSELLS.

    Anyday clickbank

    for many reasons

It pays a pretty high commission and you have more control on your account

where in the Adsense case we are at the mercy of google

I dont use adsense myself it is just my opinion,,,

On the other hand my partner has done very well in adsense

Everything in this world is relative ....

    Hope this helps
    Thanks

if you decide to use both.

Just think of it as multiple streams

      Both,

Adsense even you drive a miserable traffic still got one or two cents. This is money too.

Clickbank is tough nut to crack , depend what you promote and people don't buy at first just browse.

But sometime really Luck. I have one weight loss niche I don't expect got people buy and got.
      than no more sales.

At least adsense still have some cents to dollar.

I would start with Clickbank. You will have to master direct marketing at some point in time. Might as well start here. You can try AdSense if you want, but.... do you know what it will take for people to come back to your site and click on your AdSense Ads? Start with Clickbank and promote monthly residual income products only.

Agreed with Randall, with one caveat.

You (which I'm sure you know this) must be listbuilding.

My experience with Adsense is that the best days happen when I send traffic from an email to a site where I have it.

At the same time, it takes a lot of traffic to earn from Adsense depending on what niche you're in.

I've you've not decided on a niche, you may want to Google The Adwords keywords that have the highest CPC. Some may not appropriate for a blog though.

      Sincerely,
      Charles
