Let's say you are promoting a product in Clickbank and making lots of money.

What would happen if the author of the ebook DIES?

Will the product stay on Clickbank?

    Isn't there a written policy on CB regarding this matter?

    As I haven't been marketing CB products that long I could only assume...

    Unless somebody informs CB to stop selling the product I think it would go on..

    as for the money from the sales, if the author has a an heir, then most probably the money goes to the heir..

    If was the heir receiving monthly paychecks..then I wouldn't stop it from coming eh?

    I wouldn't worry about it. If it is being sold on CB, then it is their problem to work out. CB will pay you and they are who you have to deal with.

    Will CB keep it available? That would depend on the TOS and the estate of the author.

    Please don't take this as legal advice. I am not a lawyer. This is basically uninformed opinion. My two cents so to speak. (wasn't sure I needed to add this disclaimer or not, so I did, just in case)

    LOL @David!

    This is a confusing one I tell ya. Since it's through Clickbank & they automate all the payment processing and to purchase and get the product is all automated, I would think it'd be ok for a little while...until the guy doesn't pay for his hosting, it's terminated by request in his estate, or he gets an awful lot of complaints and not giving refunds, whichever comes first :-)
