Is isnare.com taking too long for article approval

Hi all,
Do you have experience with isnare.com? I have submitted two articles 11 days ago, even payed for distribution, and they still haven't been approved. My impression was that eza is slow but they approve articles within 5-7 days.

I've been using isnare for several years. Last month they got significantly slower, but they *are* still approving articles. It is taking 2-3 weeks now.

Yes Marcia you are right finally after three weeks one of my articles got approved. Will be interesting to see if I am going to get as many views as from eza.

ISnare does a good job of getting its articles to most of the other article directories. So you may not be able to track all those views as easily as you can from EzineArticles.com, since people could be reading the article on any one of dozens or even hundreds of directories.

I submitted about 6 articles to them and paid them, and they took over a month to get my articles approved. I will not use them again, even though they still have some of my money.

The problem with isnare is that they say at their page

How long will it take for my articles to be approved and published?
It depends on the number of articles we are reviewing everyday. We ask for a week to review your articles, but we can only promise that to our paid and platinum members as they are our priority. We cannot guarantee as to when we can approve free submissions but for sure they are queued and will be approved later in our database.
My article was submitted on 10th of July and was approved on 5th of August.

I would not have a problem when they say "we need a month". But saying "a week" on the one hand, take my money and then need 4 weeks thats not the kind of partner I am searching for ...

    kind regards from Vienna

    Andreas.

I was wondering the same i use several article directories and only notice when i log on to the add the next batch if a previous one hasnt been published.

Some of these companies do it on purpose though because they want the sales for their premium service and by doing this a lot more people will upgrade.

    kind regards

They took about 3 to 4 weeks to finally submit a couple of articles that were paid for. It is hard to use a service when it takes that long to get approved.

I am guessing from my recent experience that this problem has only gotten worse. I submitted 3 articles over a month ago and still nothing, are they still alive?

I've only recently started article writing and have quickly learned that it is not for the impatient at heart. I made mistakes in my first submission but it took 2 weeks to get booted from ezine. Now I have 7 pending...one from 1.5 weeks ago...I considered paying but their prices feel a bit high, especially for a new marketer on a fixed budget...

I keep seeing people use goarticle.com( i believe) I was going there next.

The Warrior Forum is to blame. It's now responsible
for unleashing a gazillion article marketers on the
poor article directories - so much volume that they
are swapped, Poor souls. It will now be a
survival of the fittest - either the good ones adopt
similar "premium membership" system like EZA or
die. That reminds me of a book I read sometime

lol and then there are the article spinners who think it's cool to submit dozens of versions of the same article to each directory

iSnare does take a long time... but does it really matter? I use AM and isnare for mass distribution. AM approves in 2 days. isnare in a couple of months. When you think about, it may not be such a bad thing..

Approval time for paid distribution is normally 2 weeks or so, it used to be longer but they have started to quicken up lately.

If you'e using their free distribution service then it may never get distributed.

The waiting time itself for their paid distribution is no big deal, but it would be preferable for them not say approval time is 5-7 days when it clearly isn't.

I have one that I paid for distribution back in July and is still pending. I've just looked at it and noticed that it was not marked for distribution. I think that they have had some problems lately because they actualy lost a few of my articles a few months ago. I have resubmited it and paid for distribution (again). Lets hope they accept it this time.

This message has been posted on their site since September 26th 2009:

"SERVICE OUTAGE: Sorry for the inconvenience because of our system maintenance. We did not expect any trouble as we have simulated the move of our servers from our old DC.

It is likely that there is a tiny portion of our latest data that could be lost because of unexpected troubles in our servers' transfer. For any trouble regarding your account or your distribution credits please send an email to credit-support@isnare.com"

I'm guessing that has something to do with it?

I have 2 platinum accounts with Insnare and their approval rate was really bad a few months back. We had like 300-400 articles pending approval for each account.

After continous emails to their support (and non-replies). I was just about to cancel my subscriptions when they suddenly got their act together recently. We get 5-10 articles per account approved everyday now and the backlog is decreasing. However I'm not too sure how non-platinum account holders are being treated. Seems from the comments that it ain't real good.

If you're not signed up with isnare yet, you might want to give them a miss until they're much better.

I'm stuck with them as I'm not too sure what would happen to my thousands of existing articles distributed through them or on their directory. Anyone has any idea? Oh yes..an isnare backlink does show up as a google backlink.

    My 2 cents.

Given that isnare is a paid service I find they need way too long to submit.

But i still use them because submitting articles is not a time critical thing in my book.

I always wonder why people panic when ezinearticles needs a few days to approve their article? Isn't an article meant to be there for a long time? Why worry about a few days it needs to go live?

I think that if people are paying for any service that the service should honor their posted approval times.

I also think they deserve the respect of a reply to their support emails.

Maybe its just me, but this lack of respect for their members can only be hurting their potential bottom line and long-term goals.

I have a premium account and still like using them. Yes, you need to have a lot of patience, but I like their distribution. Also, their site gets good traffic and I've seen some of my articles get taken from their and published on other sites.
