its not secure if somebody else uses your computer. if you go to options > security > saved passwords you can view everything in plaintext |

I'm also using firefox and see that password saver, but I NEVER save my password in it ... coz I feel like it's not secure... and Internet is full of people trying to steal your password from somewhere, so I suggest u don't save it.. |

The main thing to make sure of when using Firefox's password saver, is to go into: Tools-> Options-> Security-> and Check "Use a Master Password". Without the Master Password there is no security. There is a free Firefox Plugin called "Secure Login" it integrates with Firefox's password saver and is very simple, quick and easy to use. Cheers, Giraffe |

I use a master password. Since I'm on Ubuntu, I can't use Roboform (which is a shame since I loved that program). The master password does mean the data is stored encrypted, which is good enough for me. I never liked Last Pass and some of the other FF plug-ins, hence just use the built-in one. I trust that more that some of the other plug-ins to be honest. |

I am using roboform for 1 year and it is performing very well. I use for all my internet marketing. $29.95 one off payment. Roboform important features included: 1) save unlimited password 2) auto-fill personal details 3) generate password and etc. |
